i have this phone, and to be honest, it isn't all that good compared to all the phones now. i can't wait to get a new one in november, and yes, the back cover is SO HARD to take off. I use a mini screwdriver to take it off, lol. it freezes a lot and it takes a long time to turn on, and it's just a drag sometimes... but if you're patient like that, then i guess you could get this phone..

Yeah the only free Motorola ClIQ XT I found on the wed site is a refurb. So the camera with flash is the only upside? Because if that's all that's why I have a 12mp camera. Is internet required for the phone to send simple text and calls or is it just a plus? I'll be willing to pay for the net once I get payed next Tuesday.

maybe someone can tell me why my XT sucks so bad. I spoke to T-Mobile and they had me reset the entire thing to no avail. Options are cool, I love everything but the graphics load so slow it makes the phone hard to use. Anything I want this phone to do, it does slowly and nearly unresposive. dont get this phone it sucks iv had it for not even a year and i already had to replace my phone and this phone after a while starts to mess up and it randomly turns off whenever it wants, the music player volume isnt loud enough it sucks because you have to use the phones earphones because it sounds messed up with any other earphones

I actually would want to know their 4G/HSPA + Plans first.

That is one thing T Mobile has that will be great.

Coverage for T Mobile on the other hand is horrible.

AT&T may be the answer for me.

Verizon has the best coverage- though they have a slower 3G network and no plans announced for 4G- while AT&T has announced plans of HSPA+ upgrades.

And whatever you do- do not go Sprint. Their 4G is the same speed as T Mobiles 3G.

@vtadc the regular cliq has a keyboard, but the cliq XT reportedly has more RAM so it's a tad faster, and is a little lighter in weight due to not having the keyboard. So the answer to your question is really, "do I want a hardware keyboard"? The answer depends on how much texting you do probably.
