What's very interesting is that, when I through this grenade straight up in the mall. It caught onto one of the support beams up high and formed a full sphere, instead of just a half bubble.

No, this is NOT the first weapon you get. The first are the reapers which are found in lvl one (dual automatic pistols).

But yes, there are weapons you unlock after you complete the game if you go over it again, this being one of them. The new weapons are the best.

Now that is cool! I just found out that if you play the game again you get the best weapons! I found the Reapers yesterday and they like own!!! This is 10000000000% better than the shield grenade in that shitty Halo 3 game.

Well it wasn't out, but it was in Beta, and this weapon was shown at E3. Same day as that trailer from halo 3 with the appearance of the grenade.

Yes, but you'll need to find them. It's REALLY not hard to obtain them since they're along paths that you need to go to progress through the game.
