Lotsa great surprises on Crown. I have the Eubie Blake and his Orch doing "Life is Just a Bowl of Cherries" w/Vocal by Blake. Pretty Sweet and hot!

I still remember an auction years ago where I had first choice at $18 a box ,picked 20 boxes and missed a box full of Crown's.

Originally recorded in June 1931. Gus Levene wrote a similar orchestration {sans vocals} that was used in the 1973 theatrical film, "Dillinger".
