  • is that the same as the toyota yaris?

  • @peugeotCitroen2CV Its in the same family I think. The toyotanation forum has it listed with the yaris in a subsection on the there.

  • those 02 monitors will be ready when you drive 50 mph within 50 minutes steady, it's for emissions safety if you were going to get it inspected at a required state such as new york or california , new jersey etc.

  • @V10Killer2JayZee 5 minutes *

  • Is it useful when purchasing a new car? Would I be able to know if there are any OBD engine errors from a reader?

  • @gfxcrx If the check engine light is on yes. I would think that as long as the car has the OBD2 port you could easily get most of the info you need. I'm running it in a 2000 Toyota Echo and it hasn't missed any codes that has popped up but I will be honest it give you the general code like: P0420 (catalyst system efficiency below threshold B1) but I am very happy with this purchase

  • does it display a voltage meter and engine temperatures?

  • @rivtwins Yes on engine temp shows Coolant and incoming air temp, the only volts I have noticed with volts were the O2 sensors. I think as far as battery volts it depends on the make and model of the car.

  • dude you should get your thumb checked out.

  • @sn1p3r847 Thumbs good just inherited hitch hikers thumb.

  • just so you know the serial ports are incase you have a compatible wideband o2 sensor like the LC-1 for datalog with the ot-2 witch is an incredible feature... im gonna get one of these soon... good review :-)

  • @skizzlemane Thank you, I mainly bought it so i could clear the codes that pop up and make notes as to what they are.
