Hello.I met Neil S.(nice guy!) at a private boat party. He explained that, indeed,this song responded to the INS refusing a Visa to John Lennon (& honor our collective immigrant ancestors). It was never meant to be used as an anthem for illegal, uncontrolled entry. I volunteer for organizations that help billions of people in foreign countries utilize their solid work ethic to create prosperity & freedom in their native lands.
