  • More like the Volkswagen of dogs.

  • So nice little dog, I love them an I find it adorable when they show their little theets!

  • it kind of looks like a skinny pug

  • It PUG+Bulldog

  • I have to agree with the tittle of this video, Frenchies are the best !! <3

  • what a cutie

  • nice doggy ;))

  • @0Marta4 thanks ! yours too.

  • Very cute dog and beautifull fawn color!

  • @555anneska. thank you. hes two now and in great shape. fantastic stance, showing his pedigree. ill try to do another video some time soon.

  • French Bulldog / Aston Martin One-77 of dogs..

  • these people have a french bulldog and it sounds like a turkey no joke it's so funny and it plays with a rock and makes turkey sounds hahaha it's the greatest dog ever

  • A little girl once asked if my white frenchie was a rabbit or a pig, I thought and said yes.

  • my frenchie does that exact same thing :)

  • I have a lovely little girl who is black brindle and everyone is always asking if she is a pug or a Boston. The easiest way to tell is the huge rounded "bat ears" they are very distinctive. Your Frenchie is adorable, it makes me want another-who can have just one anyway? :)

  • ah yes. id love another too. love my boy to bits, but there is always enough room for a bit more !. hes a year older now, but still a cheaky little chap !.

  • Frenchies have many acceptable coats/colorings this is the breed standard from the AKC Acceptable colors - All brindle, fawn, white, brindle and white, and any color except those which constitute disqualification. All colors are acceptable with the exception of solid black, mouse, liver, black and tan, black and white, and white with black, which are disqualifications. Black means black without a trace of brindle.

  • white with black in spots is totally ok as a colouring! It's the traditionnal colouring of frenchie, it's called "caille". Look at my girl if you want to see, she's a cutie! ;)

  • Not all dogs have acceptable coloring to be a show dog, that is not to say they can't be beautiful dogs, it just means they wouldn't be able to show in an AKC show. Other dog show organizations have different breed standards, and what does it matter for a pet if it meets show dog standards anyway? I love frenchies in all colors!!!

  • Do you mean that in the US, "caille" colouring are prohibited? that's curious.. You tickled my curiosity, I will go and check.. I know that sable and fawn are almost exclusively american colourings, but if such, that mean half or more of the european show bull dogs are out on the spot (sorry, couldn't resist this one).

  • in French beauty shows, there are allways 2 categories:the brindle and the caille, and the winner of each class is the final competitor of the other one... I think that a good half of your frenchies are caille, or brindle and white , wich is "caille bringé"..

What are the main colors in the US?

PS: hope I'm understandable, I'm doing my best but has you must have guessed, I'm French..

  • lookit that face! :) what a sweet frenchie

  • yes someone who has never owned a pug or a frenchie will think this is a pug. i had a pug, and this definitely isn't one haha. I've never seen a frenchie with this coloring - but it's a step in the right direction =P

  • This is definitely a French bulldog and a gorgeous one at that! I love the black masked fawn. Adorable boy!

  • thankyou. someone who knows there dogs !.

  • sorry you are wrong.

this is indeed a french bulldog.

it is a unusual colour being fawn / black face.

if you look at other sites you will see identicle ones to mine.

100% frenchy and nothing like a pug.

    100% pedigree.

  • this is a pug not a french bulldog but however is beatifoul

  • his ears are up which means he is a frenchie. my girl is this exact color and her daddy, who is also a black masked fawn, is a grand champion. So unless AKC judges are repeatedly wrong.....its a frenchie. Same color a pug, but definitely a french bulldog.

  • it has no tail, and check the ears, its a french :)
