i feel the same way. i am shy when i sing in fron of people. and...if i do, it's not my full potential. i know i can do better, but i'm just so nervous.
@MandAndLaur don't worry. you'll do fine if you sing in front of others. the only fear i have is that i'll sound horrible, but you have nothing to worry about. you sound amazing and i'm sure anyone who hears you will support you. :)
