  • Doesn't this say it all about why Jesus Came to us?

  • Lovely song !

  • from wiki: Leonard Alfred Schneider (October 13, 1925 – August 3, 1966), better known by the stage name Lenny Bruce...

  • Auto-tune the News!

  • Nixon was correct.....

  • I first heard this version on Dec 23, 1966 at 3 - 4 a.m. I remember the date & time because I was driving on I-95, going home for Christmas leave. I was stationed at Fort Bragg, & my unit was leaving for Vietnam in January. Our CO granted us leave even though we were close to shipping out. I wanted to hear Silent Night and at first I was upset because I thought the signal from another station was cutting in. When I realized it was part of the song, it hit me in a very profound way.

  • I remember listening to this when I was a little girl and finding it really scary. It still is I guess. Incredible song xxx

  • This is really chilling...puts things into perspective.

  • When this was recorded in 1966 I doubt anyone thought it would still sound so familiar 40 years later.

  • Merry Christmas to you, too.

    Thanks for posting this.

  • My pleasure. Merry Christmas!

  • Over 40 years, and not much has changed except for the names and places.

  • I hadn't heard this in years and I agree, not much has changed. Hope your Christmas is Happy and Healthy!
