  • Can you write the name and size of the tools you used in the video?

  • Where did you get that drill?

  • very good job

  • thats awesome and look's great!

  • love the vid, has build my confidence to mod my HP P6130y pavillion with some fans. any suggestions ? was planning to add 120's on the bottom to suck air in and up to cool my cpu, memory etc.

  • noticed yo made this a intake fan lol ? heat rises dude.

  • did it as if it's already been done in the company .. bravo!

  • I like your videos. Very nice editing and stuff, but those intros needs to be change :)

  • Looks great.

Did it lower temps any (before/after)? or mostly just for fun?

  • @lifeisgood070 of course it would because he would use it as an outtake to remove more hot air from the case.

  • nice T shirt

  • hi i thinking about moding the antec 300 side window, but i have no time and tools.do u think performance pcs will help me or do it for ,e.if so how much and where do i go?

  • @TheArea510 PPC will do it, I don't know their prices

  • How would i attach a case fan to the side panel of my pc? if i attach a fan there i wont be able to remove the side panel because of the wire attached to the case fan.

  • @Pcyden014 plenty of cases have side panel fans. Just make sure you leave a bit of slack in the wire. If you want to get really fancy you can make a quick disconnect by making contact plates for all of the wires from the fan and power source.

  • What is that little flip-top looking piece on the top of the case nearer to the front? Like what's under it? USB ports?

  • @SilverJigProductions yeah, usb, headphone etc..

  • Nice tutorial!

  • Sounds like my mother when u were drilling that big hole on the top..

  • Very nice how to type video david, You're very concise when it comes to explaining things such as this! Keep up the great videos like always. :D

  • you should do a room tour

  • @activate124 Thank you very much!

  • ..... did you put the fan in backwards?

it looks like its set to intake rather than exhaust :P

heat rises, always exhaust out the top

  • @chickencombo3 with this case, it made more sense as an intake

  • Awesome job man!

  • @Exzi Thank you!

  • awesome

  • Whole saw looks brand new!

And that metal edge below the frame does not really look good for all the work you put into that. I would take it apart and either file the crap out of it or color it black with paint / a marker.

  • as always, amazing!

  • @luv6pup Thanks!

  • well done^^

  • Hi Dave,

Great job and instructions, just a little pointer though mate. It seems you need a new drill bit there, the drill should cut a lot quicker than that and having it sharp will enable you to use much less pressure on the drill.

  • @orbiter8 are you talking about the hole saw or the drill bit for the fan screws?

  • @zoop425 The fan screws drill bit my friend, it looked a bit blunt and slow to cut?

  • well done man awesome vid as always id like to see more vids on case modding.... you do it in a step by step manner which is very easy to understand.... keep up the good work :)

  • @shehanster Thanks, and there will actually be allot more to come!

  • dang what about just buying a case that has a fan...i meen it would be less work and whit the price of cases now it wouldn't cost that much

  • I have 2x 140mm magnetic dust filters, , id put thos is that case as well

  • Man I wish I had so much tools

  • WOw very nice :D

  • @TTjuniorTT Thanks!

  • nice job on the drilling , amazing accuracy

  • @FailMachineInc Thank you very much!

  • Great tutorial..

I may be wrong here but didn't you mount that fan the wrong way?

You want the top case fans to be exhaust??

  • @MuddyOCAU yep, he messed up unless for some reason he wants that to be an intake???

  • @DrDarkAssassin We wanted it to be an intake.. I would hope after all of the computers I have built I would not make that mistake.. With this case, the motherboard is mounted upside down so we wanted it to be an intake to cool the video card..

  • Nice tutorial, good thing you dad has all those tools for you to use.

  • @WestCoastMods What makes you think they are all my dads?

  • @zoop425 Because i buy a lot of tolls all the time and they start adding up. And were not talking a few hundred or so, many several thousand. Anyway I didn't mean anything by it, just knowing that you live with your folks, I must assume that most are your dads. Anyway for you to start your video with it in the background, It's kinda like you're trying to show "look at what I have" and calling your parents garage your workshop....what ever.

  • @WestCoastMods you say that as if I don't earn my own money.. it doesn't matter to me, its just kinda annoying that you say that considering allot of the tools there are mine..

  • @zoop425 Never said that you don't earn your own money, ans especially never said that you never bough any of them...I know that as a fellow modder, that were always buying tools. So yes I am sure you have boughten some of them. But why do you get so bent out of shape, all I said was it must be nice to have your dads tools at your disposal, I sure wish that I had my dads tools around...I always get the feeling that you're needing to prove something... is it from low self esteem?

  • @WestCoastMods yeah that must be it! lol.. actually I just hate it when people think that I get everything from my parents.. I really hate it.. and I was not saying that some of the tools are not my fathers.. a bunch of them are, in fact most of the hand tools are.. they were passed down from his father.. but pretty much every newer tool in there is purchased by me.. what you said or that you said it did not make me angry, its what it implies.. you know?

  • @zoop425 Wasn't trying to imply anything either. How cool is that to be using tools that your Grandfather used, that to me is a honor. Now I want you to take care of them so you can pass them down to you son...lol

  • Nice ;) 5*

  • @devan12100 thanks man!

  • Nice job on the video. Its nice to see a little change every now and then.

  • @graffix3001 Thanks

  • NICE tutorial

  • @chaosquall1 Thank you very much!!!

  • @zoop425 when i saw this in my subs i was like pmsl how to install a case fan...but it wasnt

  • Awesome work man!

  • @klipsch19604 thank you :D

  • Nice work

  • @mitchellspc Thank you!
