great guitar plus great amp =great sound.===in between wont cut it either way a 500 axe with a 2000 amp equals good tone but with top dollar axe with good to great amp makes the sound way better and will be very much better than junk axe with 2000 amp

@deathtonathan thats what i was worried about the floyd on that dan jacobs uses a che3ap as floyd rose special.dude live with it then buy a .gotoh floyd or schaller floyd or original floyd.then u will solve that problem..honestly i standarn tuning thaty mother fucker should sound like a beast.does the after burner sound awesome i mean take the distortion to a new level/.all u do is cut strings then un hook trem springs then lift out floyd then put in new .i beleive the nut is good enough

the high end Ltd espeacialy the deluxes and signatures are great guitars and arent very far off from the japanese esps i'm afraid your the moron  because even a 100$ squire will sound great out of a good amp as for his playing thats a diffrent story not exactly the kind of playing you would expect with that kinda of gear

Sure...the ltd sounds fine through boutique amps, but there will be a difference in sound, if only quite small, with higher quality wood/pups. Either way...higher quality instruments are much more comfortable to play imo, especially weight equalized balance wise when standing...

Differences in wood among are subjective. Someone might prefer the sound of cheap basswood over expensive alder. Good pickups can be placed in ANY guitar. Feel of a guitar is subjective too. Frankly, some people can't justify spending more than $1k on a guitar even if they have the money. Rightfully so.

the savage has more compressed sound and the peavey a more open one.

the price is different too....the versatile savage 120 cost more then the one-side 6505+. i would reccomend the savage because of quality, sound (more deffinition in higher volumes) and the versatility.

(the peavey is not a bad amp but it has "just" one sound...if you need more....your choice)

@Ciula Savage is polished 120, 6505+ is more raw but its umm like untamed sometimes too dirty - what I mean is that savage has better articulation but less raw.

i swapped the savage 120 for a invader 150 a short time ago because the savage was broken because of some problem with the tubes.

the invader is as good as the savage 120 even though its more expensive.. engl amps, best amps on earth^^

thats very complicate. its a new layout with 4channels and everyone has a different gain structure. ch1 is crunch and clean. ch2 is rhythm and lead based on modded jcm 800. ch3 is a very modern rhythm sound witha little bit transparency and ch4 is a very good smooth lead and rock riffage channel

naja es geht ne der amp war zu der zeit noch neu und ich konnte ihn nicht so gut einstellen...gespielt hab ich zu der zeit auch grade erst 5 Monate aber die bezeichnung "ok" ist ganz gut^^. naja ich hab den invader 150 momentan zuhause stehen, also wenn du möchtest kann ich ja ein was damit aufnehmen und es einstellen..jedenfalls kann man mit dem teil alles machen weil der sound einfach TOP ist

its the peavey 6505+, and compared with the blackmore, the peavey has much more power and this brutal high gain sound. the blackmore is better for crunchyer sounds because it has no sub.
