What is your opinion on consuming raw spinach? I've been eating and juicing a good amount of raw spinach along with other fruits and vegetables. Just recently I was made aware that consuming large amounts of raw spinach is not good for you due to its oxalic acid content. I did some searching on the internet and found conflicting information. Confession I binged on a pepperoni pizza and lemon meringue pie, etc., etc, and then I ate half a box of naturally plums (aka prunes). I'm still on my raw foods lifestyle and loving it. If I cheat I take a double dose of blue green algae or wheat grass juice. There are some very acceptable "cheat" foods that are raw -- learn to love them.
I admit, I splurge at special occasions like holidays and birthday parties. I just try to eat small and eat things that I really want and not eat just to be eating:oP
What happens when u cheat? I dont know, but for me personally when i eat cooked foods especially if their heavely processed, high in fat/oil, sodium, etc., I break out like crazy. My hair gets super oily and my skin and vitality just goes down the drain. Its why i'm so dertermined to make sure my diet is mosty raw.
