Image pulling up too school all ur friends standing there laughing then u remember the car cost under dirt cheap and is made by hyundai. The G37 is completely different from the genesis, as is the 370Z. The Nissans are faster, handle better, have better transmissions, and stronger engines. They both make 30 HP and more torque over the genesis.
Have you driven the non-track version of this car? I'm just wondering if the base 2.0T (the starting model that starts at 22K for us Yanks) still handles really well with the sport suspension rather than track suspension and no limited slip differential. Also, how is the steering feel, is there good road communication to the driver?
There wasn't a base one here. But the steering is very impressive, why just yesterday, a Dr. friend of mine who drives a Porsche Cayenne and had an Audi before test drove my 3.8 and was impressed with the steering!

I can't answer that. Check with the dealer. But if you want to install Xenons let the dealer do it. You get new headlamps dedicated for Xenon beams and they can fit the ballast and everything like the original.

Ha. :) I'm sure I said 2.0 but my accent might be odd to you. Anyway, I can't tell you what to buy, you have to do that. Get the V6 if you want the power and the extras you want that badly. Else the 2.0 is great as a daily driver and as a base for modifications. Which route do you want to go?
upgrade the turbo and tune from there its just bolt ons like intake, exauste, and ignition. its rather simple to do with these cars.i dont know how ever what the point is that these cars start needing forged internals. but the torque i would say could easily be doubled, these are very potent engines. it shares the block with the evo with only minor diffrences
Nice video I wanted to test drive the 3.8L the other day but they dont have a test drive one!!! The car looks nice and the interior quality is much better than what you would expect in Hyundai but I think it is still not up to the price though. Would like to see you do more

The quality of interior simply says much. Infiniti has real wood, better leather and such. It is also priced so not everyone could get it, so you remain exclusive. It is not meant for a sports enthusiast but rather a person who wants a daily (or weekednd) drivable sports car.
GC is for someone who doesn't care (or can't / won't) pay for a name. You get solid interior, but nothing fancy and you get solid performance but nothing serious (well.. yet).

Porsche is well built and cannot compare to the others you mentioned. Plus you get good badge recognitions: ++ respect when you pull up for valet parking! :)
The Z is a great sports car. Ot performs better than the Genesis, but you lose utility. It is a 2 seater car only with a small boot.
The Genesis gives you a sporty drive while giving you the option to seat 4 (uncomfortably) and with rather decent boot space.
I did test the 3.8, but no manual was available. I didn't see the point of doing another video because it is the EXACT SAME CAR. It just has a different engine and gearbox.
The engine was peppy, even at low RPM, shifting was smooth. Sub 6 seconds timing reported in magazines seem correct. That is it. Nothing more to add. Brakes, handling was the same as 2.0, Looks the same and so does every thing else.
$0.02: I don't think it is a dedicated Z or Mustang rival, but is great for an everyday drive.

yup. hyundai is definately taking it to the next level. i've seen alot of tests with this car, and they are above average. not to mention the most unique feature...a coupe with a RWD!!
I do agree that unfortunately everything has it's place. I do not condone the fact that this miss handling facsimile of a sports car is being heralded as equal to or somehow "just as good" as true sports icon that it is clearly inferior to. Furthermore they are making considerable HP/TQ in a RWD platform easily excess-able w/ a suspension that clearly over-powered by it. (They even went as far as omitting a bushing the the rear to cut costs.) Sounds reckless & irresponsible to me. Be aware.

A sequential is something like a BMW's SMG. This is a normal automatic transmission with a gear selection override.

These are different cars:
Porsche is well built and cannot compare to the others you mentioned. Plus you get good badge recognitions: ++ respect when you pull up for valet parking! :)
The Z is a great sports car. Ot performs better than the Genesis, but you lose utility. It is a 2 seater car only with a small boot.
The Genesis gives you a sporty drive while giving you the option to seat 4 (uncomfortably) and with rather decent boot space.
There is no right answer. Just your call.

I did test the 3.8, but no manual was available. I didn't see the point of doing another video because it is the EXACT SAME CAR. It just has a different engine and gearbox.
The engine was peppy, even at low RPM, shifting was smooth. Sub 6 seconds timing reported in magazines seem correct. That is it. Nothing more to add. Brakes, handling was the same as 2.0, Looks the same and so does every thing else.
$0.02: I don't think it is a dedicated Z or Mustang rival, but is great for an everyday drive.

laa bro, chan zain its the v6...im talkin about the 2.0T. i was there in Sitra last week. the sales dude was like its for 10,800(on road price). v6 is for 11,800. the funny thing is...i've been there sometime around december. i remember that they were for 9,000something. i wonder if the ones in the showroom are 2010, since the US have them titled as Genesis Coupe 2010. glad to know the 2010 will be havin paddle shifters...sounds like somethin!!

In Bahraini Dinars, 2.0T start out at BD 9000 and 3.8 start out at BD 10000.
Divide that by 0.378 to get the US$ price.

but according to NGM, hyundai's tau v8 can be swapped into the coupe.
and hyundai's recently unveieled S/C v8 gives 460 horses and 435 lb/ft ... which would be overkill
and i dont understand why america is so late on this car

no no, im no skippy or whatever u call me. yes i'm an american but i didnt do anything to the auto industry. no consumer did. gm ford and chrysler did it to themselves. u cant get mad if someone chooses not to buy one of the big 3 cars. its america and we buy what we want. they put out bad cars for too long and people turned away from them. kinda like hyundai at first. now hyundai is becoming a top notch brand. gm is getting there ford is there. so yes, the camaro needs to watch out. all do.

Hyundai is a budget automaker. But they are trying to change the way people precieve them.
Now, if they make cars that are not on par to your high quality standard, let me assure you it is not for lack of skill, it is for pure marketing reasons. I am sure they can build a car to rival porsches but who would pay a new entrant like Hyundai premium price for established brands?

I do agree that unfortunately everything has it's place. I do not condone the fact that this miss handling facsimile of a sports car is being heralded as equal to or somehow "just as good" as true sports icon that it is clearly inferior to. Furthermore they are making considerable HP/TQ in a RWD platform easily excess-able w/ a suspension that clearly over-powered by it. (They even went as far as omitting a bushing the the rear to cut costs.) Sounds reckless & irresponsible to me. Be aware.
