5 month old question but most likely the pump came out of the water for a split second before planning out. Causing a slight jump in RPM.

This boat would leave better if he would install a AA impeller. It definitly has enough power to handle it. I built this boat from the ground up and have tried several types of impellers before selling it to this guy.
