  • Looks to me like he put two breakers in parallel, then separated the parallel, and the isolated one of the breakers

  • Reminds me of what I was doing in Minecraft

  • Fook that for a job

  • What work is being done in this substation? Are those capacitors being connected? They look way too small to be transformers. What's the primary and secondary voltages? More details please! More more more lol! :)

  • @sirsilentbob What I THINK is that first the air switches are being opened (it can be fuses) and than the switches that switch the load are being operated (I can't really tell if they're closed or opened) the grey boxes probably house switches that are under oil to quench arcs.

After that the lineman probably opens the HV switches with the large handle at about 1:35, succesfully disconnecting the line: the first actions are taken so the HV-switches don't open under load

  • @weeardguy The first three knife links are the busbar isolator links, the second three knife links are the line isolators, then the oil switch is closed electrically at 0:58

1:14 he closes an other oil switch. then at 1:26 is a protection relay.

1:35 he opens an air break switch of some kind

1:56 he opens some more knife links
