If Dodge started building these again, updated of course, they wouldn't be able to crank them out fast enough. Dodge SOOOO needs to build a coupe besides the Challenger.
I love these cars. The video is great as well. I belong to the Charger group. I am in the process of building my 67. Maybe one day mine will be in the next video!
I have an oppurtunuty to get a 66 CHARGER from a junk yard as we speak the body has a few dents but nothing major. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK......SHOULD I GET IT??????
@theblunttruth Dude...you have to ask???? If you can afford it, go for it. I just saw a nice white '67 at a gas station. The owner said it was for sale. God hasn't provided for it, so I had to pass. Pop (my dad) had a '67. It was dark green with black interior. My Uncle bought his at the same time. It had the same exterior, but with white interior. Such a beautiful car. Someday.
I had a light yellow, air conditioned 66 with black interior in high school. I added a 4 barrel to the 318. My high school friends always ask it. I really loved this car. The warranty was 5 years and 50,000 miles, no questions ask.. It was a factory program car. My parents were really great to have purchased this car for me. My sister and brother had a 66 Polara Convertible with air and a 383. I wish we had them both.. My family kept almost everything else.
The lavendar models from :20 to :24 on here? I have a gorgeous 1/18 scale model exactly like them! The 66/67 Dodge Chargers and their wealthy big MOPAR brother, the 64/65/66 Imperials are my absolute favorites of the turbulent 1960s !!!
no the 66 charger is the best it is a beautiful car best looker dodge ever made and I am a Chevy fan but I gotta give it to dodge there. I am as tired of the 68-70 charger as I am the 69-70 chevelle too many of them out there
I tried to buy 67 Charger, but it was gone when I got there :( So I ended up with my mother's 72 Charger instead :) I still have it, now my son has another 72 Charger, hence my channel name :)
Did they ever make a Flat tail-light for the 66-67, I swear I saw 1 one time. As opposed to the normal one that is pointed out in the middle ?(They both say Charger)
I was sure I saw a Flat tail light lens one time, I thought that was the difference between 66 and 67, but I was wrong!
my first car in 2006 was a 1966 dodge charger with a 318 wide block 4barrel. unfortunately i didnt make enough money to maintain her and had to let her go. i sure do miss her tho. :(
There are always a bunch of nice 66/67 Chargers at the MoPar show in New Hamburg, Ontario in August. That show has a lot of really nice MoPars of all years. I highly recommend it.
Great video! I have one of these and I love it. You can check out the pics on my youtube site and click on myspace link there and then click on pics there.
dude i just about peed myself when i saw this video mann the charger is my favorite car ever expecialy the 66 that is like the coolest song also god all u need now is a beer amd ur set
Just bought a 66 Charger that was originally owned by an old lady in Spokane Wash..my buddy owned it for 10 years. He kept in in good condition, NO rust at all, interior is mint,90k original miles, its a 318 but for everyday driving, it beats my 426 and 440 cars!...
66/67's are beautiful cars. My two favorite years of the charger. Gotta love the fastback. I have a 66 and 67, 67 is nearly completed, but the 66 needs quite a bit of work. As big as that rear glass is when you drive a 66/67 it looks very small from the drivers seat angle.

Does anybody know if the red and black Charger is the one Chip Foose did?

I bought a red 66 with black interior brand new. $3,270. I sold it in 1971 as just another used car. I have regretted it since.

The first Dodge Chargers were built from the Coronet body. They were beautiful cars. This new Charger today is just plain ugly.
