  • Italian songs were very popular in old days in Turkey especially after San Remo music festival having broadcasted by Radio.. They always remind me of the good old days in 60's.

I heard this beautiful song very recently in one of the famous Turkish TV series. She is really beautiful and has an extraordinary voice.

    Enver GUNEY

  • @fulyaberkay

I had the same reflex :) ... look at youtube after having seen non oh l'eta in the turkish serie.

    Sevil Ulu.

  • great to hear this song again and see her singing it.

  • this is a most beautiful song and her voice is perfectly matched to it. Wonderful!!!!

  • guzel olmus

  • this song won the first prize and came to top the balladeer matt monro who came only a runner up in eurovision singing contest in 1964.

  • To Womaninblack1000 : This song means ( I try to translate ) :

    I'm not old enough

I'm not old enough to love you ( it was not correct for the education on this period, the singer was 16 years old ! )

I do not have the age to go out alone with you

    And I had'nt

    I had'nt nothing to say

Because you knew many more things than me ( you had more experience )

Let me live a romantic love

waiting on that day this love would come ... ( or until that day comes )

    But not now

  • i dont know what the song is about, but i really like it... :-)) very beautifull song

  • una sola parola,....non ho l'eta per ascoltare questa canzone:X grazie tante x la canzone:X

  • Superrrr

  • It's a really great song - one of the best ever to win that contest - the bass is dreadfully produced like squishing rasberries, beautifully sung though.

  • Prześliczna dziewczyna,piękna piosenka i NAJPIĘKNIEJSZY język na Ziemi.

  • I remember hearing this song when it was sung in the Eurovision Song Contest, absolutely mind blowing. What a beautifully rendered version.

  • Beautiful song, with the voice of an angel. I've never heard it for ages, so WoW

  • Oh, man. Now this is beautiful. A gentle, innocent performance that is quite elegant and exact. A perfect marriage of song and performer.

I hope she's had a very happy life.

  • quelle est belle !

  • Zo liefelijk gezongen, geweldig!!!

  • I worked in Vercelli, Italy in 1964 and 65. This song , and the singer capture the magic of Italy for me. It is wonderful to hear it again. My sincerest thanks to the person who posted it!

  • I've been searching for this song! Just love this song. Pity the 1974 Eurovision clip isn't clear. Would have loved to have watched that one.

  • the good old days of fabulous songs.... all gone ....

  • Iam old enough to remember when this young girl won the Eurovision song contest in 1964.My friend and I used to frequent an Italian coffee bar and the Italians went crazy when she won. In those days it was a juke box in the corner and this song was played all the time.Iam so pleased to have found it on You Tube and to hear it again after all these years. Its a beautiful song. Haven't a clue what she is singing but its beautiful all the same.

  • I too have been searching for this song for years! Such a cracking song, sung at its best in italian. There is an English recording called 'This is my Prayer' but it doesn't come over as well.

  • I love this song too. I'm italian and I was thirteen when this singer came out. The lyrics are about a teenager asking her first boyfriend to wait for her love to come. The meaning of NON HO L'ETA' is I am too young, I have not the age.

    Sorry for my poor English.

  • @annieatt Indeed. beautiful song and more important, beautiful voice of gigliola Cinequetti. This song was used in an old italian movie, and the lirics are meant to say that she has not enough age to love his lover, who in the movie was much older than she. greetings!

  • @annieatt She is singing about how she is too young to fall in love. Gigliola was only 16 or 17 at the time of this song herself.

  • io ho

  • Piękne

  • From an Inglese fan - thank you for posting this. It was bella - molto bella

  • Piękna piosenka - "nie wolno mi kochać Ciebie...", cudny głos, czyste wykonanie, choć to niełatwy utwór. 5/5

  • Wie süss, bin so alt wie sie. So schnell vergeht die Zeit.

  • para enamorarse...Viva Gigliola...me gustas como mujer y como interpretas las canciones...Dios te bendice!!!

  • Wasn't this the Eurovision winner of 1964?

  • Absolutamente luminoso!

  • I love this song!

  • Esta melodia permanecera en todos los corazones, especialmente por la dulce voz de Gigliola, que le imprime toda la ternura para expresar el AMOR.

  • TE AMO
