I think Celente is much more articulate than Jones and it shows in this interview. I disagree with you on the last comment. Celente is fundamentally a pesimist. I can hear it in his voice. He wants to see that bad stuff happen, he gets off on it. You can hear him get all excited when he talks about America going into chaos.

I dont fault him though im the same way. I just want something exciting to happen :)

Celente is good but guys like him and people that listen to him dont understand that the stock market can go up a lot even though the economy sucks. They say things like stay out of the stock market but fail to tell the viewer sitting in cash or euros is even worse. Celente is great but you wil go broke trying to trade off of his predictions and you will go totally broke trying to forecast the stock market or gold off of his predictions.

The only thing that will bring jobs back to America is if we have hyperinflation, our currency collapses, and we cant afford anything produced in a foreign land. This will force our whole manufacturing base back to America. The same thing happened in Argentina. Its the only way to fix this mess. Either that or mass emigration out of the US.

$250 is a joke, they have took money out of State Teachers Retirement in the State of California, they have diverted pension money, 401K's, cost of living expenses for social security have been capped, disability payments have been stopped for a lot of Americans, workers compensation has been decreased, Uninsured Employers Fund, (UEF) is almost bankrupt, rating injuried employees low disabilities so they can't get their benefits, Medicare money has been diverted!!!, vet funds diverted,

To add to what you just said I would like to mention the tens of thousands of people who do not fall into one of those groups, but would be willing to join them in a heartbeat if it meant fighting the corrupt system and protecting their families.

I think local resistance / militant groups would swell in numbers in a very short period of time. It's time we take our country back, be it peacefully or by force.

there are millions already gathering, organizing and getting ready for the shit to hit the fan. Find a group near you, stock up on food, water, ammo, clothes, silver, tobacco (even if you don't smoke). Ammo and tobacco can be traded for food.

Makes great sense stoke the fires of hate get a large part of the world pissed at us and we can keep protracted wars going for another 20 years. Almost did collapse several times and it still could at any time The bank Holiday possibility came into being this year with a possibility of its occurrence in the fall. the last i looked we are still in the fall. There may never be a Bank Holiday but it still does not change the fact that there is a high possibility of it occuring. Agree. If you make 100 predictions one of them may come true. You really have to look at how many of the predictions came true from all the predictions Celente made. He predicted a bank holiday last year at this time as well and nothing happened. Besides what does it mean devalue the dollar? The dollar has no more value than what people attribute to it. The Fed can print more dollars that will eventually cause devaluation but it's not the other way around and the effect is not immediate.

He said either a bank holiday or something else big. The something else was the massive printing and borrowing of money. He didn't explicitly say bank holiday.
