dude this is bullshit who would want to move to georgia wtf????? u guys fucking base this shit on 1 test no... this is so wrong... its not based on 1 test its what u do throughout the year wtf georgia's education rate is rated at 49 out of 50 thats bad so i wouldnt want to move here lmao
42 % of 8th graders failed the math portion and will attend Summer School in June, and will re-take the CRCT, if they pass the 2nd time they will go to the 9th grade and will take a Math support class in High School.
20-30 % of 6 and 7th graders failed the Social Studies portion and will STILL be going on the the next grade without having to go to Summer School and re-taking the test.
And don't blame us or our parents, blame Cathy Cox and the schools.
I agree that there is fault in the education hierachy of GA. I also understand that you have to start from the bottom up. Yes, parents are responsible for their children failing if they are not engaged in getting the student prepared they cannot be upset when the students fail. From the educator's standpoint they cannot do anything except prepare the students to take the test. I can't believe the teachers dont share some of the fault when some counties DOUBLED failure rates.
I lived in massachusetts and now i live in georgia these kids are dumbasses

Also, it is not the job of Cathy Cox to prepare the students that responsibility lies on the Parents and the educators.
