I used to visit this very historical place almost every day when I was a child and claimed it as my own.lol. Anyway I am so glad to see that it is now open to the public to visit and enjoy!! San Pawl Milqi holds a very special place in my heart and I thank you so much for sharing with us and bringing back such wonderful and treasured childhood memories. hugs x
@clarrisina Greetings from Malta. Thank you for the comment. Glad that you enjoyed this video and it brought you fond memories of childhood. Your "territory" is under the care of Heritage Malta. Those who wish to visit the chapel need to make an advance booking with Heritage Malta. Open-day for general public is held on special occasions. In Feb, there is a special mass to commemorate the arrival of St Paul (shipwrecked).
We have to keep in mind that in the past, most of us never owned a car and it was not easy to go around the islands so that can explain why you, Grazio, I and others, had never seen some remotely located chapels. Also, today, these historic places are being appreciated and advertised more than in the past.
Choy Hong & Alfred: PROSIT for another astounding show. (I confess I had never seen those two fascinating chapels.) We should be proud of our little island at the crossroads of cultures across history.
Hi Vince. Jasmine is dragging me to see these historic places and I'm glad she is because I had never heard about many of them either, but she loves all these tiny chapels spread around our islands.
I have never seen or heard of these places before ,so all the way from Australia I thank you for showing us the beautiful video , again another excellent job.
