  • The website suggest that you wash your hair day one, day two, and day three. I am assuming that you did not do that? My lavender wash just came in and I am going to try this out tomorrow.

  • i was reading that on the website during the detox period your hair can become more oily, sticky, or extra dry while the mud is strippin ur hair of the pvps and parabens and residues from previous products. did this happen to u?

  • What phone do i use to upload pics on my profile on youtube? Can anybody help me here seriously. I really don't whats up or how to do that yet lol yes it is sad but i'm honest about it really.

  • is the sheen in your hair from it being constantly moisturized.

  • first i have to say , i love love love your channel but just a little thing..... I got all hyped up after watching how happy you were about this mudwash and i just got a sample and tried it. i didnt bother to read up on it or the website and I used it improperly. would love if u did a vid on the proper detox process (my second wash i had this gummy film and couldn't figure out why until i FINALLY did research! <3 thanks for turning me on to it. its day 2 of my detox now....

  • Could you buy this product in stores instead of online?

  • I have been using this and i love the product but when i apply it to my hair its really hard to come out. I think this time I will mix it water and try to dilute it a bit and see if it makes a difference on my next wash day. I could be using too much and not know it and my hair could probably be a bit wetter when i apply it. Excellent vid as usuall :D

  • do need to use anything after this to condition your hair and does it clean ur scalp well?does it make hair managable? would it remove chlorine because im a swimmer?

  • @ShimmerKisse would it volumize ur hair at all? does it moisturize your hair? does it make it soft or silky?

  • wow... I am really skeptical about the no conditioner... i saw this video when it first came out and I don't know what I am waiting for. I am looking through all your videos because I need to revamp what I am doing because my natural hair is screaming at me and I need to get back to treating it right... so thank you I will be trying this and all you other things flax seed gel, shea butter pomade and moisturizer...I am excited....ty naptural..fellow natural hair sista from Massachusetts :D

  • i'm gonna get some of that really soon. LOL

  • thanks for your mixes!!i've been eating organic and my body is happier than before and now im excited that my hair can reap in the benefits as well!!you are truly a blessing!!thanks!keep making vids.im about to order this stuff at this moment!!i was trying to use up my other organic shampoo first.LOVE YOU!!

  • EW that is so effin gross.

  • @wereqwere whats so gross about this?

  • @wereqwere it's not actual mud..

  • @wereqwere How is it gross? It's not actually mud you pull from the ground in your backyard lol. It's a clay mixed with essential oils and other goodies. Many people use clay to detox their skin, hair, and even internally. If you look at the science behind using a clay to cleanse, you'll see it's far from gross and actually beneficial. I mean, that's if you're into that kinda holistic approach to health and beauty.

  • i agree wit @MRBenn21! you are my INSPIRATION and a blessing to me!

  • CAN YOU HELP ME PLEASE??

    Okay I have a question!

I'd like to wash my hair maybe once a week, but I find I have to wash it every other day because it stinks. I found out that co-washing doen't help me. How do you keep your hair from stinking? WHATS THE SECRET EVERYONE KNOWS?

    Thanks :)

  • @shesjustbrilliant I want to answer your question but I need more info...

  • @shesjustbrilliant Sometimes you need to drink more water; sometimes the products you use on your scalp cause build-up. I don't apply anything to my scalp. (to avoid that musty smell) Also, try buying a cheap clarifying conditioner because if you cowash with heavy conditioners, they may leave residue causing build-up. Lastly, you can only cowash if you are NOT using petroleum/mineral oil based products. These require shampoo. If you have oil skin then you need to wash often.

  • @shesjustbrilliant u can clarify with an apple cider vinegar and water mixture.u can get apple cider vinegar at like a walmart for a few bucks and it last you a while since you only should clarify at the most once a month.it'll strip your hair if you use it too much.i can't tell you much else because everyone's regimen is different and it depends on what works for you and your hair.i never had the stinking problem.but i hope this helps!!=]

  • OMG!!! Thank you for doing this video. I just purchased the small bottle and it arrived today. I'm partial to lemon. It smells amazing! I put a tiny finger dab on my hand and let it dry and then rinsed. My skin felt really soft. I CAN"T WAIT to use this on my hair. As a matter of fact, it's the middle of the day and I am going to mix my ACV and then apply the mud as you did in this video. YOU ROCK! I will let u know how it worked. So excited! :-)

  • Compatible with many products...we just need to stay away from the stuff with all the extra "junk".

  • @tariis09

    LOL

Now that I've been using Terressentials for about 7 months now, I find that I can use other products with it (as long as it's all natural or homemade...like using my kinky curly knot today as a leave-in or my Shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie for moisturizing my 2 strand twists). We just need to read the labels, no parabens, cones, sulfates, etc.

I tossed or gave away items with those ingredients, and kept my products that were free of those ingredients. Terressentials is com

  • thanks for sharing! My hair is so happy...Finally I learned new something how to wash my hair..last time i washed my hair without make 4 sections hair...that was why my hair was mess and sticky/stuck..that was alot working...I m still learning no matter what.

  • luv ur hair

  • Hi Naptural85 aka Whitney!! I'm a 3c/4a chick ;) I have been following your vlogs for about about three months now. I've made your shea butter mixes, flax seed gel and I am now on day two of the "mud" detox. I LOVE your vlogs, your products and recommendations, and YOU! You are so natural in front of the camera that it's like a close friend is talking to me. God bless you on your journey through life and I pray that you reach all your life goals and then some. Take care.

    tunky08 aka Tanisha

  • @tunky08 Hi I'm a 3c/4a as well - just starting my transition (again) but this time being more informed. I have not done the big chop yet (next couple of months). Are there any tips that you can pass on? Keep motivated on ur journey :)

  • @emmalana I would say to have patience. It took me four years after I BCed to figure out what in the world my hair needed. And I am still learning; perfecting techniques and understanding what my hair needs when it is too dry or frizzy. So caring for your hair should always be a learning experience and the reward is healthy hair that you love ;-) Good luck in your transitioning. I have confidence in you that you will succeed! :-)

  • @tunky08 Thanx - really appreciate this... Hope ur hair stays healthy and beautiful :)

  • Can you put the water/mud mixture in a spray bottle?

  • I have been wanting to purchase this product ever since you posted this video! But living in Canada means I cannot order from the link you posted. Long story short, Big Carrot sell it in Toronto but I live in Montreal so I got a similar product. It is also a mud shampoo called Aurys Ghassoul Sampoo! I am so excited to try it! If it comes out good I will definitely let you know! :) Thanks again for posting this video!

  • soo do u not deep condition anymore? yess along wit BSGfashiongal1 can use this as a deep conditioner? cause i wanted to buy the huetiful hair steamer and if this can work as a shampoo and a deep condition all in one tht wud be amazing. thnks :) .

  • do u wash it out ? and is that all u use on ya hair

  • The curls in your hair are beautiful!

  • Would you recommend using this as a deep conditioner?

  • I wanted to kno if you or any one else has heard of the SheaMoister line (cn find a target and walgreens). I use this as a deep conditioner and i hve been reading reviews on the tresessentials hair wash, and its saying that it should be used wih any other product. I was wondering if you think it would be a good idea to use the 2 products together... Thanks so much again and I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS :)

  • Hi Naptural 85... FYI i really LOVE your videos btw! they hve been so helpful and are making me think twice about hair journey. Ever since i went natural a year ago and found the wonders of what youtube can do for natural hair, I hve been on this quest to find products that I really love. to make a long story short, i hve been looking for a shampoo to use that is totally organic and natural and thanks to your video i think i may hve found it. However, I have found a conditioner that i LOVE and

  • Naptural85

    Hi...I love your channel....

  • great video quality & editing. .....some ppls videos are hard to watch

  • So can we get an update video on how you feel about this stuff?

  • awesome, awesome wash...my hair LOVES THIS...it is so moisturized and soft and curly during and after I wash it out. It's no joke when she says you probably won't need a conditioner. I do an ACV one a week also for proper ph. I just use this and KCKT + evoo as a conditioner and seal.

  • I so need to try this!! I struggle w/dull hair....

  • Hi! Just wanted to know if you're still using this shampoo. I just received my order on Saturday. Wondering if you ever thought about selling your shea butter mix (both kind)? I would definitely buy it because we have the same type hair and my mix is always a FAIL lol. Please respond...thanks! BTW Love both your channels!

  • I liked your video very much.

  • I liked your video very much.

  • Are you using a conditioner with this shampoo?

  • @sydsoladii she said no conditioners or shampoos.

  • hi i think i missed the types of products you used for your hair therapy treatment can you send them to me thanks mama..????

  • does it smell good?

  • Did that little amount work for your whole head?

  • Hey, I just subscribed and I am about to purchase that shampoo. I am presently using shea moisture products do I still need to use a conditioner?

  • @prettycurlsclub no ma'am, I use the mud wash too.

  • oh no! i just bought the govanni line yesterday:( still gonna look for this and maybe give the other stuff to my daugher.

  • Great video! I'd been searching for a low/no-chemical product that would clean but not strip my hair . I tried 2 dozen products labeled "all natural" and "non-stripping" to no avail. I brought this one and used it just like you demonstrated and viola! Clean, soft, shiny, moist hair. Brilliant!

  • Hi Nap, i subsribed to you the minute i finished watching practically ALLyour videos and ordered the Terresentials Hairwash one time, and hope to try it in a couple of days. When you do your ACV rinse, and egg mix, you said that after rinsing it out to use your regular conditoner. So now you only use Terresentials, is it rinse out the egg and go? And thanks So much for the flaxseed gel! Your'e a NATURAL inspiration. BC'd Feb 2nd this year, and "organic' products are just drying out my hair!!

  • Hi, when you're rinsing the Hair Wash out in the shower, do you take the twists out as you rinse, or do you just leave them in and rinse the mud out with the twists in?

  • Do you still need a conditioner, or deep conditioner?

  • so if i do this, i don't have to deep condition, pre poo..etc...?

  • Does anyone know if this works for dandruff?

  • Yay I just got mine in the mail today ...so i'm watching the vid again as a refresher course lol...can't wait to get home to use it. i hope it works for me like it works for you guys!!!

  • Thanks for sharing! I just finished washing my hair for the second time with the hair wash and I must say I am impressed. My hair feels so moisturized, I dont' really need a leave in. I hope the long term use will prove beneficial.

  • Do you still do egg and/or hot oil treatments while using this shampoo? I can't see this product thoroughly getting all that stuff out...correct if I'm wrong, but I am definitely interested in using Terresentials :)

  • @mimi42428 yes terressentials does ship to the UK it took a while to arrive over 2 weeks but it was worth the wait! Not going to wait until the bottles finish before re ordering, got the lavender one as my hair is quiet thick. Hope this info is good for you. PS leave in conditioner is optional try to use natural products in conjuction with the shampoo. Peace

  • @beulah41 1)omg thank you so very much for replying to me hun! much appreciated. i ordered 3 bottles of the 16 oz size. one lavender, one lemon and one sultry spice. so i ordered alot.that will probably last me almost a year lol! im really happy to have ordered so many now from reading your comment :-) i was starting to think that this product may be too good to be true but im convinced now.i cant wait to just use this and some vitamin e oil as a moisturizer and nothing....................

  • @beulah41 else.im such a product junkie usually and after my order arrives,i shall be clearing out my bathroom and getting rid of all the junk lol and how much easier to do hair huh! i enjoy washing my hair but am usually apprehensive of washing too much because of thr chemicals but now i can wash my hair as much as i want and not have to worry about chemicals.i cant wait for my stuff to arrive now lol! so excited!

  • Hi there, first off, you have some beautiful hair and thanks for posting these videos. Secondly, what is the name of this product. It's not mentioned here. Thanks

  • what product is this?

  • Hi. Do u still use this product? I bought two trial sizes and I did like the way it worked. But before I order a big size, could you tell me if you still use this and if you're still happy with the results? Thanks!

  • i ordered an extra large 16oz . bottle of this yesterday. i can't wait to get it in the mail! i think i'll do the detox - at least in part, b/c the products i've been using aren't 100% natural and i know i have a lot of build-up from -cones & stuff. i also ordered some ingredients to make the flaxseed hair gel, fluffy and creamy, shea butter recipes, and Kimmaytube's leave in conditioner. I'm super excited to get these stuff in the mail!

  • wow, I am impressed.

  • got my answer thanks

  • Ok...too much good press. I will be ordering it, even though I DETEST high shipping costs! I have what I think is 4C hair...Before I ever heard of the types I just said Nappy! I will probably do a video product review. I have only done one video before so we shall see! Thank you for sharing!

  • @MissJonell i ordered mine and i ordered 3 16oz bottles.awesome.i found a way to dilute mine.i use about 3oz of the mud wash to about 9oz pure 100% organic maximum strength aloe vera juice.the one that you drink.and its still strong.it cleanses my hair even better diluted this much.at this rate its looking like my supply is gonna last me about a year.i wash my hair every few days depending on the weather and elements.its amaziing.i use that and wonder oil or my shea butter whip mix.in love it

  • @MissJonell i got the lavender, sultry spice and the east coast lemon i think its called.they all rock :-)

  • @MissJonell i mix my diluted mix in a bottle and keep them in the fridge.dont know why but i do.i dilute all 3 and then whenever i wanna wash my hair depending on how i feel i grab the one i want.its so much easier lol

  • @MissJonell oh and i dilute them in seperate bottles lol!

  • @mimi42428 Thank you. I will try that. I noticed I was having a difficult time getting it all out. I would notice dried dirt on my scalp...NOT CUTE. I plan to wash and condition tomorrow. Up til now I prefer Giovanni and Kimmaytube's leave-in. I hope this helps. I ended up buying lavendar and lemon. Thanks again for the tip!

  • @MissJonell no problem :-) i have always diluted mine lol.i only used it undiluted once.i have never had problems getting it out of my hair.just dilute it with olot or organic max strength aloe vera juice.it really does work well that way.i use like 2oz mud wash to 8 oz organic max strength aloe vera juice.i massage my scalp for a few minutes and leave it on for as long as i can bare lol and then just get in the shower and.......................

  • @MissJonell stand there for a while letting the water run through my hair.have you tried doing the cider vinegar rinse as well?i do that maybe onnce every 2 weeks.leave inon after washing with the mud for about 5 minutes and then rinse the same way.and then put wonder oil on my hair and thatd it.

  • I ordered this product last week and I just got it yesterday and used it and I LOVE IT!!!!! I have been searching for something that was TRULY ORGANIC and healthy for my hair and this is the wash and conditioner and detangler and even moisturizer all in one. I just love it! Feels good when applying it and then after....my goodness my hair was so soft and my curls were amazing. I definitely recommend to anybody wanting to go all natural and organic with things to use in hair.

  • Does the product have added aromas? Does it make your hair smell good? About how long does one bottle last you and how often are you washing your hair....weekly, twice a week, bi-weekly?

  • How often do you wash your hair?

  • How often do you wash your hair? Great channel :)

  • What is the name of this song???? I want it!! lol

  • does this shampoo CLEAN your hair? am about to order it and i want to make sure

  • I have relaxed hair but it is loose and curly, do you think this product would hurt my hair? I wash it about twice a week.

  • Do you have any suggestions for transitioners when using this product (i.e. keeping hair moisturized after using the hair wash)?

  • i used to use Dax or Murray's in my hair quite often... the really, really hard pomade. i got rid of my little orange tin last month and ordered a couple bottles of this wash. i didn't think it would be very effective in my hair without first using some good ol' Dawn dish soap as a preliminary wash to cut the grease. i tried the wash. i let it sit for almost an hour before rinsing, (remember... Dax & Murray's), and i was shocked at the results! It really cleans your hair!

  • Hi!!! I tried this product last night. I absolutely love it!!! Thank you so much for sharing this. My hair is so soft and shiney just from using this and your shea butter mix recipes. I am so proud that my hair is all organic...nothing artificial nor harmful.

Now, I have to get rid of all of those commercial products that I used to use...I am a reformed product junkie thanks to you!! <3

Keep up the great work, you are one of the most informative v-loggers on youtube.

    :o)

  • @dameshia2

    me too..smdh...lol

  • I'm thinking about using this concept but with bentonite clay. Instead of using a thick mixture like most people, I'm going to add more liquid so I can apply it like this. I looked at the ingredient of this wash and the second ingredient is clay minerals, which is exactly what bentonite clay is. This idea works in my head, so hopefully it works in real like too.

  • @Novemberlady09 heyyyy so did you try that method yet? I want to do the same thing but want to see how clay you buy in a health store works before i purchase this

  • @melimelism no i haven't. I have in mini twist right now, so I will probably be trying it in the next few weeks.

  • I am soo going to be buying this. I looked up my favorite Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle rose conditioner and found out it's toxicity is a 3 out of five. It freaked me out. I have been hunting for an organic shampoo and conditioner. This replaces them both! Thank you for sharing. You are awesome!

  • @Pieisforme You may be mistaken about the AO HSR conditioner's toxicity levels. If looking at the cosmetic database, it's on a scale of 0-10, so 3 isn't really bad. And it's only that high because of the ingredient Retinol (Vitamin A) which is a naturally occurring molecule that LACK of it causes terrible problems such as night blindness. Excess levels would have to exceed the daily recommended amount by like 10 times or more (lpi.oregonstate.edu/infocenter/vitamins/vitaminA/).

  • @Pieisforme It's unlikely you'll get Vitamin A poisoning since it's really hard to do, especially through the skin.

The cosmetic database is good for exposing ingredients like FRAGRANCE (which women are obsessed about but don't realize how unregulated and hazardous it is), it's not so good in showing known risks.

Remember, water is toxic at a certain level, but unless you're dry rushing a frat or in a marathon after 2 days of training, unlikely to happen to you. So read with a grain of salt.

  • i use the mud shampoo yesterday. i luv it! it really softens my hair. my hair doesn't feel stripped. a life saver. smell great also. i got lavender. i always watch this vid

  • Comment removed

  • Hey Naptural85! Thanks for your vids on this product...I just received mine in the mail today (the lavender wash)...one question, do you refrigerate your bottle? i'm concerned about that because it contains aloe vera juice.

  • @lola321ify uh lol nevermind, problem solved, i called them and they said it was stable and needs no refrigeration.

  • i found another product-shampoo that I wanted to get your opinion on by RA Cosmetics, Dr Naturals w/Lemongrass 2 in 1 intense shampoo conditioner~ ingredients:Purified Water, Natural Coconut Oils, Cocos Nucifera, Lemon Grass Extract, Avacado Oil, Baglaure Aloe Barbadensis, Lanolia Coca Midroprpyl Betaine Wheat Germ, Hazel Nut Oil, Natural Preservatives and Fragrance, not trying to switch you to this brand, just curious your opion on it. Thanks!

  • Hello Naptural85, I'm really wanting to buy the shampoo, but I'm pretty scared about the price tag and the size of the bottle of shampoo. Uhm I researched a bit on certain clays and found the Rhassoul Clay is one clay that will leave the hair and skin really clean and rejuvenated. I was wondering if you've heard anything about the clay and whether or not you think it could be a good alternative. I was thinking about making my own shampoo recipe using the clay. So what are your thoughts?

  • Where can I find it in canada or online? thx!

  • Hey miss lady, i just wanna see that im a hugh fan of yours. I went natural in september i cutt all my hair off because i got tired of being a slave to it. I started using the terressentials products like right after you posted the video.i drove like 52miles to get it,because i didnt feel like waiting for it to come inthe mail. Thanks for that.well i have a few questions for you. How do i make my hair grow fast?and what product can i use to dye my hair?

  • What is this called and where do I find it?

  • where do you purchase this? and sn: lol at the ending that was adorkable ^^

  • I know you're doing a lot of reloading, I still stop by to see what's going on..LOL..now this I wouldn't mind trying it.

  • how is your hair doing since you started using the mud? Any noticeable difference since using shampoo?

  • are u still washing ur hair once a week now or how often w/ the mud wash?

  • Oh My Gosh! i bought this stuff yesterday and used it this morning! this stuff detangled my hair in 5 seconds! i didn't even need to pre-detangle with conditioner! yes you do have to rinse well but my hair felt so nice and soft.

  • @grinnabee lol! It's crazy right! Lol, so glad you like it! <3

  • @Naptural85 thanks girl!

  • @grinnabee wow rele?!?!?! I think I might have to try it......plus it saves you money! I love that part lol

  • @grinnabee did you order online? i just did! i got 3 16ounce bottles as live in london and dont want to have to keep ordering all the time lol!i cant wait for mine to arrive so i can try it and see the results lol! i know i asked so many questions!i was so excited about this product after seeing your review lol!i got the lemon, lavendar and sultry spice as they recommeded them for curly kinky hair type that tends to be dry or damaged! fingers crossed :-) i love your channel.keep the videos coming

  • where can i buy it? am in the nederlands

  • @matawa08 terressentialsdotcom I am a fan after watching her videos and trying it.

  • @dabarefootbombshell thanks for the quick reply. Do you know if it contains protein? Am highly sensitive. Help please

  • @matawa08 Nope the shampoo is just good old mineral in good quality dirt that ids made into mud with essential oils I guess. They have their ingredients on the site. This product has been a godsend and i thank Naptural85 for sharing this.

  • @matawa08 no proteins in it...and I delayed getting some cuz of the name. Who wants to wash their hair with dirt or mud...then after lots of reviews and encouragements from friends...tried it. I could just kick myself cuz I could have had these results last year. I haven't had to use a conditioner at all with this stuff.

  • @dabarefootbombshell I've gotten the unswers to their website. Thanks amillion!!

  • @matawa08 - Hey there, I saw ur post and wanted to comment. Did you try their website, to see if they ship to Netherlands? If they don't, let me know, so I can check it out for you. We will be carrying it soon in our store in a few weeks hopefully, so I'll keep you posted on that. Thks!

  • @outreachfamily2009 Thanks very much for your concern! Yes i've checked and i don't see european countries listed, only USA and Canada. I would truelly appriciate your further help. Are you in the Nederlands? I would like to try this product. Thanks alot.

  • @outreachfamily2009 Thanks for your concern! Yes i checked and i didn't see europe on the list, only USA and Canada. Do you live in the Nederlands? I want to try this product. Thanks

  • Did you follow their "detox" regimen when you first purchased this?

  • Hey tlinton84! I didn't have any of the "detox" issues that they talked about! I think it's bc I don't really use too many synthetic chemicals in my hair, so there wasn't really much to break down! <3
