@vova47 Lucky You! Wow, I'd have been over the moon to have seen this in person! Aside from it being the most magical of Christmas specials, it holds a place very dear to my heart. Two male friends were singing in the senior male chorus! Sadly, they're both gone now, but every so often I watch it again! It's like having binoculars into a very happy past! Hmm, I will most definitely be buying this. I've been looking for it for years, as I had a vague memory of Battle singing O Holy Night that has haunted me. It was from this concert.

@acitipo Se trata de un DVD Sony/BMG (D4157) titulado "A Carnegie Hall Christmas Concert", grabado en directo precisamente en la sala del Carnegie Hall de Nueva York, creo que en la Navidad de 1992, con Frederica von Stade (mezzosoprano), Kathleen Battle (soprano), Wynton Marsalis (trompeta), American Boychoir, y todo ello dirigido por André Previn. Se puede conseguir el DVD en eBay, Amazon, etc. Búsquelo, cómprelo y disfrute, disfrute, disfrute...

Mine too! I recently was able to speak to her outside the stage door after a concert to thank her for all the joy her music has given me for so many years. She gave me one of her dazzling smiles and said "God bless." What a lovely human being Flicka is! This is my favourite Chirstmas concert of all time -- I got the DVD from amazon. RE: Kathy Battle -- go to the FanFaire website to see a series of interviews with Flicka where she speaks with compassion about Kathy.
