@anapao89: Actually, I don't know if there are any tours like this one in Miami. They are very interesting, indeed. If you ever find yourself in the Boise, Idaho area, do take the tour. There is much more to the prison grounds, such as museums. Thank you for stopping by!

It was closed down in 1973. It truly is a fascinating place. There is so much more to it than what I placed here in my videos. There are museums as well as other buildings where inmates were housed. Have a terrific week (BIG smiles)!

Yes. I wasn't too happy about it either. He was a great guide and I thanked him and told him what a great tour guide he was before we left. He told us that in November, the prison will be open for night tours. One can bring their flashlights and cameras. My daughter and her friend wants to go again, but I told them that I will not go at night (LOL)! They will probably go.
