I'm an RN and have a patient who needs to get one of these. If this was me, with the heart condition, I'd rather get the internal defib.

i have had one of these life core vest i was lucky that the vest has not needed to shock me if you are thinking of getting one of these vest or the dr says you need one. do it. at first it is a little uncoftable but you get used to it. im 29 years old and work in a car garage it was never really in my way the pack is a little bulky and when you sleep stick the pak under your pillow i found it the easyest there if you sleep with no shirt on.

hi rc volunteer1978 - those "greedy" doctors give up half their life for their schooling then give half their incomes to medical malpractice insurance how about a little tort reform fixing to lower costs - be thankful your docs knew how to help you live -overhauling not enhancing the healthcare system you only get one open heart surgery - you wuld not be writing this ignorant note but resting down under in a patch of green

I LIVED in the same area but I have the internal i have three open heart surgeries costing a great deal of medicaid and medicare money the Greed of the doctors in Florida sucks
