a love is old building it had a huge part in my childhood. i still have items i have collected from gartloch over the years even some very very old origanal blueprints of the building. GREAT VIDEO!
Hi Dazzababes, you've taken lots of stills of the site haven't you? The sad bit is that the shell of the building has been retained but that beautiful ceiling and the wooden staircases etc are gone. doesn't seem quite right. Appreciative of all the records of the area you have made though

Fantastic hall! I googled Gartloch Asylum and see that it was recently closed, but is being renovated for a "luxury village". I'm glad to see it is being saved. There are some beautiful pictures of it on the internet.
