The part about family-oriented and children is not exactly right. La Cirque has always been geared toward a different crowd than the saw dust and elephant poop traditional circuses which market o families with kids. La Cirque markets to an adult clientele looking to take a date to a visually dazzling experience instead of a traditional Broadway-style show.

i don't think anyone was under the impression that cirque's focus was on adults only. not unless we were talking about this show only. either way, we can't escape the fact that a great number from the audience are still made up of kids in most of their shows, be it the dark alegria or the funny dralion.

I found the struggles within the personal relationships interesting. I guess it really just depends on the personality type and certain characteristics whether a relationship could endure. I don't think I could do it. It would be fascinating to study the relationships of people who are involved in the adult industry. I have seen a documentary about porn stars and their personal life/ professional life and relationships- Anyway- does anyone have any thoughts?

Jealousy is a natural and powerful emotion which only a relatively few people can control. A significant percentage of porn stars, escorts and other adult entertainers are in long term relationship. Also, swinging and open marriages are more common now and they will be more of them in the future. It is a paradigm shift in relationship dynamics where exclusivity is not even implied.

i hate how everyone is complaining about this show. its not like people havent said it is extreme...and of course its going to be because its cirque du soleil. dont by the tickets if you think its going to be a tame show. plus, its las vegas! just like h.h. said himself...there is a place for family morals and that place is not las vegas.

I haven't heard much about the show and didn't know it's a hot topic. My friend went and enjoyed it. Isn't there there a warning before the show that it's for 18 and up? Maybe because it's Cirque Du Soleil they think it's okay?

Correction! "That place" is not on the Las Vegas Strip. The Strip is a small segment of Las Vegas. There are nearly 2 Million people in Clark County.

Just watched the show today. We bought the cheapest ticket ($69 + tax) and got upgraded to $125 section because the show wasn't full. We originally wanted to watch "O" instead, but it was full. Zumanity is only suitable for people who doesn't mind watching lots of nudity, as it is a very erotic show. Lots of people ended up leaving after just 10 minutes because they weren't expecting such erotic show.

What would have been the point of staying if they did not enjoy it? We would eat an expensive meal that you ordered if you did not like it? I walked out of movies, shows, and hard to get in clubs when I did not enjoy them. Zumanity is not for everyone.
