SAS is good but Seals are trained in any weather and most of them came from The Mariens Navy Army or any part of the Military I dont just know this from deadliest warrioir for many years i have wanted to grow up go be a marine for 4 years and transfer to the navy seals. They say ther navy seals test is one of the hardest tests in the world. You have to have intelegnce, speed acuracy, endurance, and flexibility. Any one who wants to be a seal like me you better start training now.

Also I think only 8 of the killed were actual SEALS. But regardless its a dangerous business, you can die no matter how well trained you are, especially in a helo. Navy SEALS reputation is not hype. These guys built their reputation in combat during Vietnam where they terrorized the Vietcong and nearly wiped out their leadership through targeted assasinations. They were stopped short of finishing the job when the American public got wind of it, and Vietnam might have been a lost cause anyway.
I tend to side with Special operations types who are also combat divers. It takes a certain type of person to do that, many really tough SF soldiers couldnt do it.

@86nugget19 Its my understanding that the SEALS killed in that incident were not the same ones who Killed Bin Laden, I doubt they were even from the same unit (ST6, DEVGRU or whatever its called now). Also I think only 8 of the killed were actual SEALS. But regardless its a dangerous business, you can die no matter how well trained you are, especially in a helo. Navy SEALS reputation is not hype. These guys built their reputation in combat during Vietnam where they terrorized the Vietcong and nearly wiped out their leadership through targeted assasinations. They were stopped short of finishing the job when the American public got wind of it, and Vietnam might have been a lost cause anyway.
I tend to side with Special operations types who are also combat divers. It takes a certain type of person to do that, many really tough SF soldiers couldnt do it.
