@aeropilot It's a bit of both, the irish monks went back to Ireland and the first sizeable permanent population was norwegians fleeing Norway for various reasons. It has been speculated that most of the Celtic ancentry comes from slaves which were taken on viking raids in Ireland (as more of Celtic genes are found in women than men and it was documented that many women were taken forcefully from the British Isles as future wifes) but it's not black and wihite.

@dylanpartyon When Scandinavians speak English language they have a natural 'posh English accent'. Bjork's accent has got some London in it. I can imagine her saying "innit" "know what I mean" :D But the posh sound comes from the Scandinavian. Believe it or not.

My Norwegian friend has a strange 'English' accent mixed with Norwegian... so much so that I asked her when we first met, "how long did you live in England for?"... to which she replied "never". Anyway, yeah - I think of Iceland as Scandinavian because it's Viking country and was settled by Norwegians. I'm seeing Bjork and PJ this weekend at the BESTIVAL! Looking forward to that!

The reason Polly does not talk is not because she does not take the interview seriously but because no question is aimed at her.  This could be because Bjork was thought of as the biger star, but it may also be because the video stops before questions are aimed at Polly. This video comes via Bjork Tube so they probably thought the questions to Polly were unimportant.

I vaguely remember reading somewhere that there was this idea to have Bjork sing a duet with one of the other artists at the 94 Brit awards, her manager gave her a list of all these "rock icons" who were interested and she picked Polly, who apparently wasn't even on the list of "rock icons" since she and Bjork released their first solo records at about the same time. Bjork obviously made the right pick, but she probably should have brushed up on the lyrics...haha

I agree with calling them talented and I agree that a musician should not be judged by how he or she looks. Their music should always be the deciding factor and the music industry needs to not focus so much on whether a person's looks are "marketable" or not.

With that said, I think both Bjork & Polly Jean are sexy as hell. They possess a rare beauty. The kind that one doesn't instantly notice until you see the artist at their craft and then suddenly go, "Oh, I get it! She's hot as hell!"
