  • Good. .

  • this is the exact reason why i was paranoid dyno testing my sv1000s k5 they treat it like its a piece of shit !!!! lugging an engine that bad surely does do damage . Not using the clutch aint a prob but dammit get two guys one to sit on the bike and one to do the computer work !!!! and treat it like its price tag!

  • "Lugging" is fine as long as the engine oil pressure is sufficient to keep metal to metal separation in place. You guys would probably be horrified to see what an OEM does for dyno tuning, imagine if you had to map in areas where the motor will not normally ever even be capable of running, like 300-900rpm or 5% throttle and 11k rpm. No motorcycles or parts were harmed in the making of this video. I only upload this stuff to show the "nasty" side of tuning. There are enough normal dyno vids!

  • @sean46436 your paranoia i'm afraid is a by-product of myth, mis-information, superstition, and urban legend that was in place WELL before you ever tested your K5 or ever clicked on this video. heretofore you occupied a state (of mind) where "ignorance was bliss". (as micah states) the SV you hold so precious and dear has ALREADY been hammered on a dyno of some sort at least 2x or 3x before it even left the factory...!!! the only difference is you weren't at the factory to observe the test.

  • he didnt even use the clutch wat a twat

  • Yeah, I am an ass-hat...genius, clutch is VERY optional on any sequential gearbox IF you actually know how to operate one properly!

  • on any big bike try doing a massive rear skid before you take it on track. it will shake the shit out off you for a few laps. vibration is not by a bike engine as they dont vibrate much once you revv them beyond tick over. even if the motor was vibrating the mounts would sort it out. the vibration is from the tyres. specifically the back tyre on a dyno. also this bike has the standard exhausts for a D16 and not the non existent aftermarket cans that this guy claims. rear end is standard

  • 153 hp is bullshit. this bike dynos at 195rwhp+. try big cc surrey. i can get 165rwhp from a 996R from back in the day. educated in bikes and u know this is wrong. has anybody got details on the first post of this vid. even the sound has been staged in this video so stop bangin on about sound and vibration please. this bike vibrates coz the back wheel hasnt been static balanced and thats what is vibrating(gyro?). also a bad front wheel wont shake on the dyno but will fuck u up on track

  • holy shit... this thing is shaking like crazy. that's stupid.

  • Other than inline 4 and 6 cylinder and V12 engines ALL the motors shake violently at high loads and lower rpms. My V12 and inline 6 car engines however can be lugged down to about 500rpm before you can feel much of anything.

  • thats awesome

  • omg the sound!!! <3

  • my dream is have one.

  • @nellybruno get a 916/996/998 in the mean time then m8. they dont cost as much to maintain as everyone says but i would say get a decent battery if you are using it on the road. i realised with the 748 a shite battery in a duke afects the performance as well as letting you down if you have to start it more than 3 times i n the cold. the D16 twitches like fuck but i still love it. its a second or third bike so buying one to use on the road is stupid and desperate. track bike..period

  • the most beautiful motorbike I ever seen:)

  • OH NO! he's shifting it without clutching! damn him!

  • @corotor12345 Just keep the revs steady while quickshifting..

  • @evilcatpillow this bike has full throttle gearchange as standard mate but IS NOT fitted with standard quickshifter as corotor12345 says. you are both wrong

  • @corotor12345 quickshifter as standard no need on the up shift :) no need to threat lol

  • Hehe and First Flame ..LoooL Nooob ^^

Btw Nice Bike, but not as fast as my Peugot Speedfight 2 :P

  • I want one of those supercharged, water cooled, intercooled, fuel injected little 4t Peugot scooters, too bad they do not sell them here in the USA.

  • cool :) (first comment lol)
