Until watching this, I really didn't think this game would be as bad as everyone said. I thought people were just holding it to too high of standards. After watching this, I can say that it is just as bad, if not worse than what people claim it to be. Other than the names of characters and enemies, this might as well not even be a Zelda game. @HalfBlindGamer Rupees are red in this game, because Animation Magic/Phillips was only able to get the limited copyrights for Zelda, King Harkinian, Link, Ganon and couldn't set the actual game in Hyrule. So they are rubies in this unholy triforce series.

@Cooljay1991 Good thinking, however, it is not the case. It's not very clear what the deal was exactly. Seems that four main characters was the deal (Link, Zelda, Mario and Donkey Kong, which they never used), Both the Zelda as Mario games have other characters/enemies.

Not being able to use Hyrule and rupees makes little sense makes little sense. Also, technically speaking, the third game does use rupees and takes place in (a region of) Hyrule. Even though you'd only know that from the manual.

@terrmedia I know that there's a torrent floating about with a lot of CD-i ISO files, which you can use in combination with an emu. Be warned though, CD-i emulation isn't that great yet. The horrible controls are even worse if you need to play it with the mouse!

@MarkP0rter Technically speaking, CD-i was actually pretty weak. It had a lot of hardware limitations, which made making interesting games extremely hard. The only real advantage it ever had, hardware wise, was MPEG support and maybe to an extend its online capabilities (only one game actually went online).

Philips never intended it as a games platform, so it was pretty poorly designed for that market, which shows in it's library. A missed opportunity for sure. Sony showed how to expand on it.

Your commentary needs work. I understand that your English is not very good, but if you can't improve, just don't do commentary. It's better to have no commentary than to have commentary in broken sentences, and no witty lines.

Witty lines are another important one. All the best Lets Players are hilarious to listen to. Go watch some of Chuggaconroy's videos; he's my personal favorite Let's Player, and why is that? Because he's FUNNY!

You rarely see any CD-i stuff on the retro fairs (at least the once I went too) and if you see someone sell it, that person most likely has a monopoly on those games for the fair and might start pricing it high. At least for the most sought after games, like the Zelda's.

My guess is that if you see this game laying around, it's probably priced at around €20 to €30. Also, be vary careful of the language!
