thats true..had a gualbladder problem,i know i spelled that wrong but lets move on..But it lead to namonia in both lungs..i know i prbly spelled that wrong also, but lets move on..But anyways it lead to a heat attack from infecting my other organs..well it all started from my gualbladder that im spelling wrong lol..and i have never been the same since then,no enery, short winded and body always aches, mostly in the legs..so other than not being able to spell and living a life of pure pain.Im ok lol
This is a truly amazing video Lisa!! Having a postitive attitude and spirit, is one of the most essential things everyone needs to be able to make it in life, and it can make a huge difference in the way you look at things.
@oldvision I am so glad to hear that. I am doing the same thing too. These days, crazy stuff is getting thrown my way.....so every day is a new challenge to keep my head on my shoulders and fulfill my New Year's resolution to have some FUN this year....!!!!!!!!
One of my strengths is problem solving. It's a big part of my livelyhood. I can honestly say that most, if not all the problems I've worked with, would not have been solved without a healthy dose of positive thinking. The down side is that I interface with a lot of negative thinking problem creators. It's very discouraging. I have to take steps to insulate myself from them. I hope you had a good Easter.
@EdElisea WOW Ed...what a way to put it....people who actually CREATE problems with their negative thinking....I am dealing with a few people like that as well these days....it is not fun...
A huge number of problems are caused this way....
I have always stayed positive by playing games with the nurses. Maybe you have played it? I call it find the patient. I hide somewhere in the hospital when ever they try to give me a shot. And then they search for me. Very fun.
I know I'm not wired to be positive, but I have tried to change my thinking around. It's helped. I was supposed to be in the hospital for a week after my angio plasty and I was out in 4 days and drove the hour and half to my apartment. Started walking the next day. :)
This was a tough video to ignore in any way. You had me stuck to the screen. You really told it like it is. Great Job. I mean that, watched all the way through. I'm a fan Lisa.
I agree Lisa. I really do think that the power of positive thinking can do more good than almost anything we do outside of medicine. Thanks for these videos! -Jim

@phekwig The story of Mr. Cousins and his fight for his life is a famous one. I still recommend reading up on him as there was so much to his life...
The story of his battle with heart disease is also notable...
