@tigermavrick I practice similes freestyle. A good rule of thumb is to freestyle and write your best lines/ideas/similes down. So it's a little bit of both. Writing will make you a better freestyle rapper BUT rapping them in a cypher isn't a "pure" freestyle. does that make sense?
