  • Don't read all these crazy comments just watch the video

  • YES I do believe ALL The DISGUSTING QUEER Catholic' Priests MUST be turned over To Catch a Predator.

Don't forget about The Nuns aborting babies burying their bodies in the basements of their church's.

  • serious catholics... unlike not-so-serious catholics. i guess they get into heaven whereas the latter doesnt. What is the difference? And if only serious catholics get into heaven, what does one have to do to be declared a serious catholic? attend mass everyday? be prolife with respect to abortion and the death penalty? all of the above? Rather sanctimonious in my view.

  • Well they would have to believe everything that the church thought, with also keeping with the bible and also keeping the sacraments.. yea its alot..

  • Centuries of Sodomy Rape Queers Deviates Molesters Abortions and 1000's of DEAD BABIES via PREGNANT NUNS I believe in the 10 commandments don't need a QUEER telling me about HEAVEN I visited a church near my new home, I saw a FAGGOT I DEMANDED they Ostracize the QUEER HIS body language verbiage and dialog Extremely evident Nuns aborted 1000s of babies, killed them buried them under basements of Church's Crusaders ate babies run the sword thru them 4 a BBQ

IN the Name of the POPE...

  • wow... you are a sane one.

  • It's all in the LIBRARY. word for word

LeZbian Nuns Hate the Deviate Priests there's a war going on with in the Diocese. Ash anyone who works there. My sisters room mate was fucking a Priest for years. Better than sodomizing and raping little boys.

  • "don't need a QUEER telling me about HEAVEN I visited a church near my new home, I saw a FAGGOT I DEMANDED they Ostracize the QUEER" ... what does this have to do with anything? and how does one spot a "faggot"? are they walking around town with tags on their shirts or something?

  • Statistic's of Sodomy, Rape, Child Molestation, that's DEFINED as DEVIAT / QUEER. Ask Webster, Any Library will accommodate your inquisitiveness. OR when a male Priest is more feminine than a man. Walks like a QUEER, Talks Like a QUEER, Acts Like a Queer. YEP they ARE BRANDED, they brand them selves, they go out of their way to act that way.

  • rape and child molestation are deviant, but not all homosexuals are child molestors or rapists. bible says working on the sabbath is punishable by death.... is that not deviant behavior then? if it werent there would be alot of dead people. deviant means literally to deviate from the norm. my retrospective observation of our dialogue leads me to think that the only person deviating from the norm.. that is, by acting like a lunatic, is you. Why do you hate gays so much? they arent harming anyone

  • UR an IDIOT. Look up QUEER; DEVIAT. Wonder how many got killed last Sunday? Last time a QUEER approached my cousin The Queer was in Plastic Surgery for 8 weeks. Keep it in the closet U QUEER. YEP QUEERS ARE SICK, every FAG I know has a insecurity problem. You all do, cause you'd screw anything.

  • you are a disgusting human...I pity your lack of tolerance

  • Pope also acknowledged sodomy of little boys, did nothing about the ramped DISGUSTING raping for centuries. Yes the Truth is Disgusting... all facts... Your Selective Ignorance is Extremely Evident.

  • luv the song

  • Ron Paul, (unlike the next President - be it McCain or Obama) had the foresight to warn of the impending economic collapse.

While Obama, McCain, and Biden all voted in favor of the treasonous bank bailout, which only puts this country in an even more precarious position economically, Paul's comments and recommendations have proven accurate consistently.

  • Vatican official Raymond Burke attacked the U.S. Democrats as the "Party of Death" for supporting choice.

Google "RCscandal" and see how - instead of telling the 1/3rd of Germans who were Catholics that the mass-murder of Jews was an expressway to hell - the hierarchy warned them to avoid the "mortal sins" of abortion, birth-control, masturbation and missing sunday mass. The bishops appreciated the fact that R.C. Adolf Hitler shared his church's view of abortion and enforced laws to prevent it.

  • blah blah blah . the dead horse is that away- have fun beating it.

  • Vatican official Raymond Burke attacked the U.S. Democrats as the "Party of Death" for their stand on abortion. He said JOE BIDEN AND NANCY PELOSI, while presenting themselves as good Catholics, have presented Church doctrine on abortion in a false and tendentious way. (see Reuters.blog article of 10/1/2008)

Burke is right on. A vote for a democrat is a vote for murder!

A vote for anyone but McCain-Palin is a vote for an ObamaNation. JUST SAY "NO" TO B.O.

    God bless the U.S.A. †

  • Biden is a Catholic. Please support your fellow Catholic against the snake handling witch Palin.

God Bless Obama/Biden and the USA. And God damn all witches and evildoers like Palin.

  • Letting someone you love continue on the wrong path because you dont want to hurt their feelings isnt real love and is cowardly.

It would be mean if you didnt tell someone you love that they were about to walk off a cliff or that sticking a fork in the toaster was a bad idea. Sure, they can ignore you, but at least you tried. The details you dont want attention paid to are the cliffs and toasters. To let someone continue without knowing the consequences when you do know, just isnt love.

  • Roe v. Wade, legalized abortion by a 7-2 vote. 6 of the 7 justices in the majority were Republican appointees. The only Democrat appointee, Byron White, voted against Roe v. Wade.

Currently, there are 7 Republican appointees and two nominated by Democrats. Obviously, if the Republican majority has wanted to overturn Roe v. Wade at any time since 1973, they had the votes to do so. Why havent they?

    DONT REWARD BAD BEHAVIOR!

  • the five non-negotiables? How about indiscriminate and unjustified warfare? How about abuse of executive power that allows for systems of economic oppression making the rich richer and the poor poorer? How about providing attention and care to the millions of children of God who have contracted HIV/AIDS because of economic and gender oppression? How about health care for millions of uninsured Americans? There was a time when Catholicism stood for the rights of ALL people, not just the unborn.

  • Indiscriminate????? Explain that one. LOL.

Let's stop the killing of almost a million children every year, then we can address your other issues.

Prioritize the issues. Give me one single issue that is more important then maybe you can convince me.

  • Monstervoice, I think I love you.

  • "even when a child is conceived through rape or incest, the fault is not the child's, who should not suffer death for other's sins"

but it's aiite for rape and incest victims to suffer... because they're sinners for gittin raped amirite :)

"no human has the right to take his own life"

AKEJAWE HOW DO YOU EVEN... JUSTIFY THAT LOL

  • Of course youre not right!!

Two wrongs dont make a right. Two evils dont make something okay.

In the case of rape and incest, the fault is not the childs, but their fathers. The child should not be punished with death for the sins of their father. Punish the dad, not the kid. Mothers who dont want to keep their child can always resort to adoption.

  • First of all, it's not a child. It's a clump of cells. Or is every sperm sacred lol? There's no point in arguing with someone who has such antiquated views. As long as society continues to recognize that women are not merely walking baby containers, this society will remain pro-choice :)

  • In order to have water, you must have 2 parts Hydrogen and 1 part oxygen. In order to have a child, you must have the female and the male's reproductive glads meet and form a embryo. Without one, you have nothing. I don't understand why people make such a big deal with sperm "being so sacred." You can't make a child out of sperm and sperm...

  • I'm not taking sides here, but we're not just talking about sperm, we're talking about a fertilized egg. sperm alone= not life. Sperm+egg= life. If you're going to be logically consistent and be pro choice, you need to accept infanticide and euthanasia, which I do believe in, so for me to believe abortion should be legal is no problem. killing is wrong only when done against someone else's will. if an adult wants to die, why is it wrong for someone to help them in that? one MUST be consistent.

  • So then killing is wrong period in the case of abortion, because you're not giving the newborn a chance to make a decision which would be against their will, no? Heartbeat = life. Life = rights. When you take the life of a child not born yet, you're taking away their rights that are bestowed upon them to life a free life that they want to live. Who ever said that the child wanted to be aborted? See where I'm going with this?

  • I admire your zeal in striving to ensure that our moral foundations are not compromised! However, I am frankly a bit worried. It seems as if the words of the Church and of the Pope seem to take precedence over the words of Christ. How much greater an example of how we should live than the One whom we worship?

God bless you. Continue to pray, as I am, that our Father in heaven will bless our nation.

  • If you vote in opposition to Catholic Church teachings on serious moral issues like abortion, homosexuality, euthanasia, embryonic stem cell research, etc., then please be honest and don't call yourself Catholic.

If you do desire to be Catholic, then bring your faith into every area of your life, including politics. Vote for politicians who will end abortion, preserve marriage between a man and woman, preserve life.

  • I love this! Great song by Zoegirl :D

  • 1. People of the same sex marrying, contrary to the info in the video, does absolutely nothing to the marriages of straight couples. Furthermore, telling lgbt men and women what they can and can not do purely for religious reasons is frightening and patronizing.

  • your arguement isn't against the video, but rather the teachings of the Catholic Church.

This video is to educate Serious Catholics on what the Catholic Church teaches on these issues.

If you are not Catholic, don't follow Catholic teachings, and/or don't follow the Pope, follow your own beleifs.

  • You seem to have made two contradictory statements. In your video you make it clear that marriage equality (for all people rather than just catholic) should be opposed. You then went on to say that non-catholics should do as they like in your comment.

  • You misunderstand. This video's main purpose is to tell Catholics what the Catholic Church teaches on these issues, see the title. The entire video is a message for Catholics and others who want to here/see it.

People have free will. They can completely or partially disagree with the message, though this especially sad if they're Catholic.

If you were a Jew or a Muslim, wouldn't you like to be told eating pigs was a sin? Supporting the five issues listed here is a sin for Catholics.

  • "The Catholic lawmaker has a moral duty to express his opposition [to extending marriage equality] clearly and publically and *to vote against it*. Ive added the asterics for emphasis. Here the message advocates imposing a religiously rooted social prejudice upon other people by means of the law in a country that is not and should not in my opinion be a theocracy. When you write something into the law you are doing so for more than simply catholic citizens and that is what I object to.

  • This video isn't about theocracy. It is about correctly forming your conscience and voting accordingly. When candidates are elected into office, it is because a majority of people wanted them there because they liked them and agreed with their views. Candidates who claim to be Catholic should follow basic Catholic teachings and vote accordingly because these teachings should be a part of who they are as people. Who they are should be a part of why they are there.

  • What if two 12 year old children want to be married? If the law decides that they can't be married, is that prejudice? What if a man wants to marry his pet fish. If law states he can not, is that prejudice? The line has to be drawn somewhere. I don't think opposition to homosexual marriage is solely by religion, but by science as well since a homosexual couple is not made to procreate. Is biology prejudice as well?

  • Children and fish are not accorded the right to marry in the States because they are incapable of comprehending and signing a marriage agreement. There is no such legitimate claim against same sexed marriages. Raising children (something that same sexed couples already do) is only a portion of what marriage can entail and would you revoke the marriage of or deny marriage to an infertile couple?

To tigreesa: When you're asking that the government adopt your religion you're asking for theocracy.

  • I am not asking the government to adopt my religion; I'm asking Catholics to adopt fully their Catholic religion. Why bother claiming to be part of an organization if you are not going to follow all the rules?

Also, the laws of a country should reflect the values of its citizens. Catholic citizens should have Catholic values. I am asking Catholics to give voice to their values by voting.

  • the difference between the a man marrying a fish or a 12 year old child is that homosexuals should to be permitted to marry because they are consenting adults. i never heard of a fish or a 12 year old legally consenting to anything. also, science is a stretch... no other species marries and many others engage in homosexual activity. if male bonobo chimps fornicate, is that against science?

  • Only a woman and a man can procreate. This is a biological fact and this biological fact was instituted by God. Not all men and women can procreate, but that would be the exception of the many that can procreate. If all people were heterosexual, than life would continue to flourish as a result of the man and woman union. If all women and men were homosexual, than there would be no more new life as a result. That is a fact. There seems to be a reason why God instituted the union of man and woman.

  • so the only time you are ever going to have sex is for the purpose of procreation, right? Also, what if everyone was bisexual? Then we would procreate. Not all of us are homosexual and not everyone is heterosexual and some are multisexual so why the concern over homosexuality? and how do you know god only instituted the union of man and women? if he is the creator of all things, why do some men feel attracted to other men rather than women?

  • I never said the sole purpose of sex between a man and woman is for procreation; however, isn't procreation the most sacred purpose of sex? I think so. Homosexual intercourse is restricted to merely pleasure and not for the sacredness of the miracle of life. People could choose to have sex with anyone or anything but it will never posses the qualities contained within the union of a man and woman and that is procreation. A disordered desire does not justify the action of satisyfing the desire.

  • I would not object to being told eating pigs was a sin. I *would* object to being told that I am morally obliged to support legislation banning pork.

As a Catholic, I don't object to being told that homosexual acts are sinful. I object to being told that I have a moral responsibility to impose my religious beliefs on others politically.

As for the other issues mentioned, (and capital punishment, BTW) the rights of human life ARE threatened and should be upheld; no arguments there.

  • If you oppose official Catholic teachings from the Pope and Magisterium, then you oppose the one who sent them... namely, you oppose Jesus the Christ.

  • This is both irrelevant and untrue. First off, this list was not the product of any organization within the Church, nor has the Catholic Church or the USCCB endorsed it. Therefore, disagreeing with it is not opposing the Church at all. Also, the Pope and the other *human beings* of the church are fallible. The Catholic has a moral obligation to follow his/her conscience (CCC 1782) that supersedes that of the hunam authorities of the Church.

  • If you don't know enough to be a Catholic, it's not surprising that you would disagree. The Pope is the Vicar of Christ on earth. He was given authority directly from Christ, protected by Christ from officially teaching error in faith and morals. Opposing the Pope on official teachings is the same as opposing the teachings of Christ. Abortion is an intrinsic evil, according the Pope. Any true Catholic would know this. Any true Catholic would oppose abortion.

  • Please cite where you are getting this information - I doubt it's validity and take objection to your attacking my Catholicism based on things I never said (I am strongly pro-life, thank you.) Perhaps if you would reference your position and defend it rather than just restating this we could discuss this like adults and not call names like children.

  • The information regarding the Pope is part of Catholicism, look in the Catechism or ask any Bishop.

The part of pro-choice regarding Obama is available from Planned Parenthood or NARAL. Here are voting records from NARAL.

    Voting Record:

Sen. Obama received the following scores on NARAL Pro-Choice America's Congressional Record on Choice.

    2007: 100 percent pro-choice

    2006: 100 percent pro-choice

    2005: 100 percent pro-choice

  • What's more, Obama voted against a bill in his home state that would protect an infant born alive after a failed abortion. He voted to let the baby, although born alive, die. This is clearly infanticide, and more extreme than the normal severely misguided liberal stance.

  • I commend you for being strongly pro-life. If you vote for Obama, then you'll need to go to confession before receivign communion again. You would be cooperating with someone who supports intrinsic evil of abortion. We all need to continue to study Catholicism, as it's depth is considerable, as is its beauty.

  • This list comes from information located in the CCC and other important Catholic documents (which are cited in the video with the abbreviations explained in the description) and was composed by Catholic Answers Action, which has permission from their diocese of San Diego; so they are supported by the Catholic Church and disagreeing with it opposes Catholic teachings. Also, the Pope is Peters and Christs successor so his authority, which comes from them, should be respected (CCC 880-882).

  • CCC 1782 means Catholics have to follow their conscience when it concerns religious matters, in cases where governments may be preventing the practice of Catholicism, trying to force Catholic pharmacists and/or hospitals to hand out contraceptives and/or perform abortions, etc. It does not say ignore the authority of Church teachings, in fact CCC 1783 says your conscience shouldnt conflict with Church teachings or else it is poorly formed. CCC 1776-1794 covers the topic of conscience.

  • the Gospel according to mdkpubs? I guess because you wrote it it must be true, right? Just like when a Pope makes a statement... what gives him the authority? divine intervention?

  • Pope Ain't SHIT... When the fishermen went to the pope complaining they weren't selling fish. Cause all were eating meat, pope declared Catholic's can not eat meat on Friday.

Commerce is the Vatican's Divine Intervention. Vatican owns BanK America. #1 member of the NEW WORLD ORDER.

  • How's that aluminum foil hat fit, bud?

  • I am glad that you are pro-life, but if you read the last line of CCC 2357, you will see that you are morally obligated to not encourage or approve homosexual relationships. Not being against gay-marriage violates this. Under CCC 2240, you are obligated to participate politically to promote the common good. Voting is always how people impose their opinions. Also, the death penalty is not one of the non-negotiable issues since it is permitted in some cases under CCC 2267.
