Dumps sound good with a cam. I'm running MAC shorties into 2.25" duals with no crosspipe and Thrush welded 2 chamber mufflers (same as Flowmaster 40) on my '82 with basically an E303 cam and it sounds nice.

I loved my dumps. What i didn't love was the resonating inside the car. Granted i have a Hatch not a notch.
