  • that was some good skating... you guys should make a movie

  • if i got this lens but the 58mm version would it fit on my Canon Rebel T2i with kit lens? someone please answer

  • @TerraceSk8er97 No.

A canon rebel t2i needs lenses that are made for dslr's

I.E: canon ef mount lenses. Or any other company mount with adapter.

If you put the 58mm on top of the uv threads than it will have trouble focusing and itll look pretty mad.

  • @7lazydaze Thanks

  • Canon 600d.... Will it fit

  • the sound i s so delayed

  • @reskateboards1 it's either your computer or your internet because the sound is just fine for me.

  • @Raul79mty It is the vig from the fisheye lens. I have the 58mm for my vx1000 and it barely has any vig, it deends on the camera or the lens i dont remember haha.

  • Why is there black around the picture???? I've seen some without it. Will someone explain??

  • @Raul79mty its the fisheye tunnel, if you zoom in it goes away

  • @Raul79mty If you add he spacer that comes with the lens you will get vig on mostly every camera. If you dont use the spacer there wont be any vig.

  • I want a fisheye lens so badly!

  • perfect vig!

  • I didnt know ronnie from jersey shore skated!

  • will it fit on a 30mm sony hdr-cx115e?? let me know please

  • @mveskater yes with a" step down ring"

  • @mveskater are you kidding me? you would need like 6 step down rings

  • any spacers?

  • Great camera, lens and skating!!

  • nice style of skating

  • i think I like this lens better then the Opteka "vortex" .2 cause it seems that more of the shot is in focus just likes cleaner when the rider goes from one side of the lens to the other .

  • That's sick

  • What kind of camera is used in this video?? I like the quality.

  • check out my test of this lens: /watch?v=4xDtAitVQXI

  • I swear this is as good as an MK1, and MK1's cost a lot more?

  • @33hasson Opteka .3x are pretty much copies of Century Optics Mark 2, not the mark 1, but as you said, they're pretty much the same, except for glass durability and the fact that MK2's are bayo while only opteka GL1/gl2s are bayo while the rest are screw. Century MK1 > MK2/Opteka

  • How Long did it take for this to come.

  • @LakiaSkater1994 its because you took the ring off, so you've probably just jamed the fisheye onto your camera at an angle i think, so if you still have it then put the step up ring back on and if that doesn't work then maybe your ring or possibly the fisheye itsself is too big/small

  • I NEED HELP!!! i got this fisheye but wen i put it on my camera the black rim from the edge of the fisheye is only on the left and not the right idk how to adjust that on my camera and i removed the ring thingy on the fisheye.

  • is the century optics baby death wider?

  • these guys have got too much steeze!

  • does a Sony HDR-CX150 work with this fisheye??? someone please, i need to know!

  • @zerotabbz Dude, go to amazon, type in your thread size (37mm) or whatever your rig is, then fisheye lens. Opteka has one for your rig, I'm sure. I'm buying the 37mm one in one week for sure.

  • Oh, and I have the HDR-CX12 (37mm), so I know it will work for sure. Did you buy the telephoto and wide angled lens for your Sony? I did, and they work great (well worth the extra $400)

  • i want these spots in my area so fuckin bad i cant wait till i get a car im going everywhere

  • will this fit on my jvc everio hm320?

  • wat editing system is this

  • HOW DO YOU GET THE BLACK AREAS ON THE CORNER?! I HAVE THE SAME EXACT FISHEYE BUT WITH A CANON HFS20. DO YOU TAKE OFF THE SPACER RING? BECAUSE I REALLY LIKE IT WHEN THERE ARE SOME BLACK AREAS ON THE CORNERS INSTEAD OF JUST A ROUND FISHEYE EFFECT.

  • @TheRVshow No... You need MORE spacers.....

  • @TheRVshow You need spacers

  • @KayEllPee i only have one spacer do i need two?

  • @TheRVshow YES

  • @TheRVshow why the hell are you trying to get vig??

  • HOW DO YOU GET THOSE BLACK SPOTS ON THE CORNERS?!?!?!?! I HAVE THE OPTEKA 58MM FISHEYE ON A CANON HFS20 BUT THE FISHEYE EFFECT IS JUST ROUND. DO YOU TAKE OFF THE SPACER RING OR WHAT? HOW DO YOUR GET THOSE BLACK SPOTS?!

  • i own the same fisheye. how the fuck do you not have that geyy blue out line on the vig?

  • @omahaskate132 probably has to do with the camera you're using

  • @MrPumpanddump i have a dvx. ive seen it on vxs and gls too

  • i love the sound on this... it's like you can hear when people skate clean!

  • what video camera are you using

  • how did you get the vig like that?

  • anyone know if this is crop/zoomed hmc footy? i plan on trading my opteka .4x for the .3x, needs more distortion!

  • @spiker369 ill sell you mine

  • omfg they interest me more than the fish eye XD

  • Comment removed

  • hmmm everybody talking bout the camera but that was some sick skating also:D

  • @Nyer1234567890 Thanks. Though I wasn't in the video, I did film it.

  • omg that vignette is sooo sexy

  • can you put this on a digital camcorder?

  • @mathewrolls Try opteka's website, they have something you can attach to a digital camera like a nikon cool pix what will let you screw this bad boy on (aswell as other lens or filters)

  • can this fit on a vx1k?

  • @Arlingtonfilmer nah youd have to get the death lens (mk1)

  • one of the good, really good things with such a wide lens is if your following them you dont have to look where your going, you can see it along with who your videoing

  • I dont get any vig with my canon vixia hf s200, i kinda want it but my spacer doesnt give it

  • why the fuck are you standing like a football feild away?

  • yo how filmed it

  • Comment removed

  • @artvideophoto dude wtf, your trippin haha

  • Selling my fisheye lens! its the exact same one! 72mm .3x! theres a vid on my channel check it out!

  • @burtontoker how much?

  • @burtontoker asking $220 shipped

  • quality is so fucking beautiful

  • niceeeee

  • There's an opteka fisheye for the Sony handy cam DCR-SR68?

  • i liked how "eddie" wears his pantslol

  • i bought a death lens titanium series off ebay for 115!!! bidding BUT i was soo hyped i didnt realize it didnt tell me the size of the lens so it could be anywhere from 52mm, 58mm, 62mm & 72mm and my handy cam is only 25mm BUT if its either 52 mm or 58 mm i can buy a step up ring but if its 62 or 72 im gonna have to sell it for more....

  • Century > Opteka

  • @jablowm3 century's prices<opteka's prices

  • @Austhesauce Century's quality > Opteka's Quality . You get what you pay for

  • @jablowm3 Most people, including myself can't afford Century's "quality" and besides Opteka makes handles, lights, dolly's, batteries and a lot of other stuff to help broke filmers out.

  • @Austhesauce Again, you get what you pay for. Go to B&H im sure they have better dolly's and lights and etc

  • @jablowm3 To me, Opteka is just better value. Not that Century doesn't have better products. It's like Opteka has the product for 1/2 to 1/3 the price at 3/4 to 4/5 the quality it's more expensive Century Schneider doppleganger.

  • @Austhesauce I understand that, but the reason they are so expensive is because its top of the line product. So yes they are going to be priced pretty god damn high. But if your lookin for a lens and not really feeling like getting top notch quality, than get opteka. But im just saying that Century winns 99.99% of the time

  • Will the platinum 30mm fit a sony handycam dcr-sx44?

  • hey,

did you mess with the audio a little because the audio is infront of the video by the tiniest bit.

  • @LONGBOARDvsBMX damn ur right, good ear.

  • can this fisheye lens fit on the Canon HF R100? i really like the fisheye

  • @ColeLakomski13 you'll have to glue an adapter ring to it

  • damn , that was some dope ass skating .

  • hey opteka, just wondering if you have any fisheyes with little to no vignetting on them?

  • do you have the sunshade on?

  • is there a difference in wideness in the platinum or titanium series

and will it be the same wideness on a 52 mm camera with a 37 mm fisheye

  • Hi i have the panasonic tm700 with a 46mm filter size. Not sure whether to step up or down. Should i get the 43mm platinum or the 52mm titanium?

  • is this a baby death

  • I got the 43mm, love opteka man they have the best for the cheapest.

  • iss this fish eye good??

Opteka HD² 0.20X Professional Super AF Fisheye Lens for Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT, XTi, XS, XSi, T1i, T2i, 1D, 5D, 7D, 10D, 20D, 30D, 40D, 50D, 60D Digital SLR Camera

  • dirtyyy

  • nice dude check out my opteka 3x test video

  • What happens if you land on the windshield?

  • audio is slightly off.

  • how did they make the make the video hd at the start without the user having to click the HD video

  • im not trying to disrespect anyone who likes fisheye lenses but whats so great about it? and why does it cost so much?

  • @hashytaka fisheye lenses help when filming skateboarding. the thing that makes them great is that when your filming with one, you don't cut off the person's head or arms like you would with out one. so you get a full shot of the person skating . and the reason why they cost alot is... they are badass. but you can buy a cheaper one for like 20-30 dollars. but your not gonna have as much wideness as a 100-300 dollar lens would.

  • @helloimcory

Ohhh! okay now i can see why so many ppl like them so much. thnx for answering my question.

  • @hashytaka no problem man.

  • which sony camcorder should i buy ( within 400 $ budget ) in order to set up a fisheye lens ? reply plz

  • what cam u have?

  • is there a spacer in there?

  • sounds allitlle offf

  • @xixmclovinx that is always caused by youtube itself, it sucks

  • great filming sync in some mellow music and your straight

  • i cant seem to find my answer through research but it seams as if the 0.4 has not veg but the 0.3 does? can any one help me out here my goal is to have no veg

  • Nice filming

  • Your sound is lagging :S

  • Some music would set this video off..

  • are you using a spacer

  • sweet fisheye footage!

  • are you using a profesinal camera, if yes, which one???

  • wow........

  • i dont get it. I have the same exact setup as this and my image looks alot different. I get vig completely around the sides of my frame and I even zoom in to z10.

  • Comment removed

  • wow the difference between this lens and the .43x lens is really big looks like i am going to have to pay more

  • i have the opteka platinum series and i have to use the 30.5 adapter ring and when i screw it on all the way it doesnt show up with perfect corners and on the video the fisheye looks like its shaking whenever i turn the camera. how do u stop it from looking like it shakes.

    Thanks

  • i just got this same fish eye today, and when i put it on my camera, the edges around the picture are not like these, they are crooked and not circular, how do i make it like this?

  • sooooooo is 0.3x wider than 0.4x etc?

  • if i used a step up ring from 52 to 72 would there be alot of vig from the 72 just wondering cuz im buying a lens from opteka.com and wanted to know if i should just stick with the 52 or if this will work

  • im a noob to this so BEAR with me...... aside from the effect i see. what does the fisheye lens do exactly?

  • @narutokiller9 gives a much wider angle of view, just search death lens comparison and it will come up with some example vids

  • good skating .....shit filming

  • sick spots.

  • hey just wondering, whats your editing software?

  • hey guys watch my promo for my video... its sick!!

  • Killer Cam Quality. What kid is it?

  • optick tick tick boom :D

  • FISHEYE IS GAY

  • wow amazing colors and quality, very nice lens :D

  • do u know how many spacers were on this?

  • really nice editing and what program do u use to get the font with the guys names it was fair cool and great quALITY AND FISHEYE

  • hey man, I have a camera called PowerShot SD780 IS. It's a canon camera. I wonder, what kind/size of lens should I buy? Please Reply

  • dose it fit on vx 2000

  • IM GETTING THIS FOR MY GZ HD7!

  • great skating. awesome fisheye

  • does the platinum series still have the vig like on the titanium series?

  • your setup is so nice, how much did it cost you?

  • hey i have a quick question, i am getting a sony HDR AX2000 will the opteka titanium 0.3 fisheye fit on that ?

and can you get a clear filter on it so you protect the lens from scratches ( seeing how it comes out like a dome figure).

if any one can answer that it would be much appreciated

    marcus

  • Will the Opteka Titanium fisheye fit on a VX1000 without a spacer ring?

  • I'm looking to buy a fisheye for my gl1 but i don't know if I can put the Platnum series 0.3x (37mm) an put an adaptor of 58(camera) to 37(lens)?

Do you think the quality will be as good as a streight 58mm lens?

  • @konahuard do not put a 37mm fisheye on a 58mm thread! if you do you will have a full circle of vignetting, get the 58mm opteka

  • on my camera the fisheye wont fit on without a spacer ring. is there anyway around this because the spacer ring just gives way too much vig

  • camera?

  • nice! i just felt like the sound was a little off, idk it could of just been me

  • Why does the skating sound so deliciously smoooooth???

  • difference between 43mm baby death, 58mm, and 62mm, and 72mm please respond looking to buy soon ^.^ also which one are you using and whats the difference between all of them if there is any and what does the .3x .35x etc is that how you tell how wide of a range it has? sorry thanks :)

  • @redmage132 -

    Platinum series = 37mm & 43mm.

    Titanium series = 52mm, 58mm, 62mm & 72mm

The 0.3x is the magnification of the lens.

E.g. If your current lens is 18mm, with the 0.3x attached, it will turn into a 5.4mm

  • @Opteka so baby deth lens are opteka tit and plat series? i need a eye for my vx, but if the opteka plat says 52mm, its talking about the mount size right?

  • @Opteka my friend says century optics makes way better fisheyes then you guys... please inform me on your opinion on there fisheyes... and im planning on buying a 72mm death lens for my dvx but i dont know which company to choose from! please help

  • @FTRFB

    century is the og

opteka titanium .3x is the same as century mark 2

    unless you get a mk1

but those are tough to find at a cheap price

  • @redmage132 the 37mm...43mm etc is the size of the threads...the difference between 3x and .35x is themagnification...(for skateboarding a .3x would be better)

  • quality is AMAZING!!!!!!!!

  • is this good for a jvc everio gzhd7?

  • @matthewm04 I think you need a 43mm fisheye...

  • damn thats some good quality

  • the sound is off and its freaking me out, but other wise, awesome, i'm buying a new lens!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • what do you use to edit?

  • your good!!
