You think that just by asking, in general, unprepared "questions", you are doing some service to our country. Just like all these liberal democrats who claim that Blackwater is expensive or not cost effective. Yet, none of those same committee members have offered into the record an actual in-depth cost analysis of what is costs to place a US military soldier on the battlefield.

One Democrats spurtted out an annual salary figure, but just like the short-sighted liberal he is, they don't take into account HIDDEN COSTS like training, food, clothing, equipment, transportation, etc.... These Dems can only see what's sitting on the tips of their noses without looking several steps down the road. How can they claim Blackwater is expensive without something to compare their cost to? It's like judging that someone is fat.

Without having someone skinny standing beside him, how can one determine fat or skinny. One needs something to compare to. And the fact that Watson acknowledged that she read one book and that gives her some sort of authority on Blackwater,just proves my point as to how weak and easily influenced some of these Dems are by one piece of literature.Why don't they do a well-round research project and a cost analsis before they conducted this hearing?  Why didn't they do their homework beforehand?

And why are they exerting animosity towards Blackwater when they should be conducting a hearing on DOD and State Dept officials who are the actual EMPLOYERS of Blackwater? DOD and the DOS know why there is a need to hire Blackwater. All that Blackwater is doing is responding to their request. These are the RELEVANT questions that these Dems just aren't prepared to answer. And really listen to Watson's whole unintelligent speech. She is just blabbering on and on without any real substance.

First of all, what in the hell does Rep. Watson's opinion of Rush's comments have anything to do with the topic of this hearing: Blackwater and the need for it? Her breath is a complete waste of time for this hearing. Secondly, will she ever let Mr. Prince fully answer or explain his position? Thirdly, I would like to know of her past voting positions on defense spending bills to see if she is practicing what she is preaching. I hate people who complain about deficiencies in our military but are actually facilitating the deficiency by voting to cut or lessen the amount of funding that would actually provide for some of the services perfomed by Blackwater.

I'm a little confused as to her actual complaint against Prince. It's not his fault that the military has sub-standard wages for enlisted personal, why is she brow-beating him over something he has no control over? If anything it should be a good thing that he pays he security contractors so well, what's the problem with that? Better yet, what's her problem with that? If she doesn't like that the front line soldier dont' make squat, why doesn't she introduce a bill to give them a good raise?

What does that mean, "she has an incredible inside and outside Congress"? Even democratic voters in the area acknowledge that she keeps getting re-elected solely on what she did 20 years ago. Our military is paid well and received good benefits & training. It's obvious that paying the salary is only part of it - a part omitted every time cost is discussed. Vehicles, aircraft, weapons, operational expenses all add up to a lot of money. It's clear that in addition to never seeing combat these people have also never run a business of any significance.
