On the day after we made this video, we loaded up the alternator with several halogen floodlights. In total we had 2.75kW of floodlights connected, and the 6 hp Listeroid managed this load quite happily, at just 610 rpm. We had fitted extra head gaskets to reduce the compression ratio to about 13.5:1. I was very happy with the performance of the woodgas fuelled Listeroid, compared to the diesel ones I have previously worked on.

I am very curious as to the HP/Kw output running with low compression and on woodgas - - - compared to output on diesel.
