  • is there a free internet wifi?

  • better than a plane!

  • Unfortunately, from Manchester and northern cities. It is actually cheaper and faster to fly into paris. The advertised £69 return fare from london should be at least £39 in my opinion.

  • My mum is scared of both the plane and the ferry, so the eurostar is an absolute lifesaver for getting into mainland europe.

  • In both stations (Gare du Nord and St. Pancras) as well as on board the Eurostar trains, the staff people speak French and English fluently. Recorded messages are broadcasted in both languages.

For trains between London and Brussels, everyone speaks English and French and most are also fluent in Dutch as well.

  • I was in Paris last year with my mum from London (during our last few days of our cruise along the Baltic Sea).

It was an awesome train ride!

  • So there's a train that goes under the Channel as well.. When the servants came by did you have to talk in French or English?
