  • I cried with Ingrid.

  • @curlyfry44 lol its basically a roll. so a bacon buttie is a bacon roll.

  • 'it looks mouldy'

  • You can put dish cloths or sponges in the microwave for 2 minutes too and it kills 99% of the bacteria, just be sure they are absolutely soaking wet so as to not start a fire! I did this at a house with a septic system where we couldn't use bleach.

  • What the f*ck is butties??

  • Such a lovely family, bless them! They deserve this.

  • I can't help but compare Lara to that little girl from the haribo advert. 'sign the 'fession.....look into my eyes'

  • Did anyone else cry toward the end, this is the first time I did that on any of the episodes. I felt so sad when the mother cried standing in the bedroom they shared and all those Children running around, him not there to see them every day, heart breaking. Glad they got a break.

  • 5:41 i love how in these super-messy rooms, you can't even quite see the shape of the room for the mess.

    they deserved this so much..

  • Wow, that was emotional. :') I'm so happy for Ingrid. <3 Kim and Aggie, you guys are angels! Lara is ADORABLE, btw! :D "I'll tell him to STOP."

  • I want a child like lollie someday :D

  • Love these kids...

  • These kids are cute!

Especially lollie & the way she talks.

  • i cant imagine being those guys who clean most of the house. that must be disgusting.

  • Those children are ADORABLE!

  • @babymac004 agreed. I'm not a huge "kid" person usually. To me, kids are just small people and anyone who knows me around here knows how i feel about people. But these two kids are SO adorable.. it's really hard not adore them completely.

  • ahhh i admire ingrid for keeping everything under thumb, i know if i ever lost my man i would never be able to get over it! my whole house would look like her upstairs! bless her for doing it all for her kids! best of luck xxxx

  • "It smells like frozen peas. I LIKE frozen peas." What a weird, adorable child!

  • @anqeiicdemise Now I need to go sniff some frozen peas.

  • this little girl is soooo cute "it's naaasty" bless

  • I love these children : )

  • What an adorable little girl!

  • I am surprised under all the stress the mom has managed so well downstairs. There are some dishsoaps that warn that you dont mix bleach with them.

  • Naawww what a beautifull family! xx

  • Aw, this might be an even better episode than Rocket Man.

  • Who's this then?

    Cookie bear!

    Cocky bear huh?

    XD

  • i rly liked this episode =]

  • Regarding the dish soap/bleach mixture comments: Bleach mixed with ammonia is deadly, but dish soap mixed with bleach is no more toxic than adding bleach to a load of laundry. Some dish soap and laundry soap brands add bleach to "enhance cleaning power." That said, bleach alone can be dangerous and products like baking soda and vinegar are safe and very effective for both dishes and laundry. But then again, if I ran into some of the crud these ladies do, I'd probably use bleach sometimes, too!

  • omg, i so want a kid like laura...she is soooooooo cute and adorable...:')

  • First home that Kim and Aggie have asked to have the kettle put on. Before the cleaning. Tells you that the mother is quite clean in the home, but quite soft on the little ones.

  • I used to have the same pig seen at 6:23 :)

    Small world.

  • This poor family isn't filthy, just messy. And it is understandable after what they have been through.

Hopefully this experience is going to make their lives a bit better.

    xx

  • that poor 18 yr old, i have hair just like hers. Water is your friend!

  • This little girl, Lara 1:10 ... she's a talkative wee thing. Bless.

  • Why not just throw the dish rag in th e wash each night and use a clean one that went in the washer the next day!

  • Good mom and good kids, they'll be fine. :)

I've watched hours of this show on youtube now, and they keep suggesting "washing up liquid", which I believe is dish soap, mixed with bleach. But that is a toxic combination. At the least the fumes will irritate eyes and nose.

  • @palmyrajo - washing up liquid is just dish soap - just what you would use to wash your dishes with...no bleach

  • @nox10191 you misunderstood me

  • @nox10191

I know that washing up liquid is dish soap. But they suggest mixing it with bleach. Not a good idea. Bleach should not be mixed with any other cleaning products.

  • bless this family. they have been through so much and they deserve to have a clean home.

p.s. lollie is so cute! "but i don't like bacon butties"!

  • Our house rule from the very start is "food and drink stay at the table". Saves me from alot of the problems other parents have because they simply can't say no ;)

  • Damn cute that little girl when she said she doesn't like bacon biteees...

  • Oh dear. I just shed a tear at "How Clean is Your House". :-\ This family is so sweet, I hope things have looked up for them every since!

  • aaaw Kim's so cute with the little girl

  • Eleonor looked a lot like Winona Ryder when she was little... she'll grow out of the awkward age and blossom into a beautiful lady... she's such a sweetheart.

  • The little girl Lara is so cute with the British accent

  • Yes, well, see how you'd cope or motivate yourself if your life fell to shit. To be honest! Should've just had a week off!

  • What about the oldest daughter's room? doesn't she get one?

  • What a lovely episode! They all look so much happier.

  • Kim is so good with kids. And that little girl is adorable. Whats a bacon buddy?

  • lol a bacon buttie is somethin we have over here its toast with bacon in the middle we call our sandwiches "Butties" coz we r cool like that ;)

  • Bacon butty is a Uk bacon sandwich lol ^^

My dad loves them but they are very fatting unless you get lean bacon.

  • That poor lady. I sure hope those kids helped her keep that place clean. I would say she should have been more strict, but, given the situation, I can truly understand.

  • Lollie is sooo adorable :D

  • What a lovely family, and so deserving of Kim and Aggie's help. An excellent episode.

  • This was a great episode! People don't have good reasons for being untidy. With this family, one really saw how the whole family mourned their loss by not cleaning, as it was the father's job to get everyone working.

I'm happy that Kim and Aggie choose this family to help, because the mother really needed support in getting back on track. The kids are adorable. The 1st born is so responsible, helpful and grown up. 2nd and 3rd born cheeky and sweet. Mikey is the only roaster in the hen house!

  • bahhaha!

  • Who cares?.... The mum looks like Marisa Tomei, and the daughter, Natalie Portman.

    Beautiful family....

  • sorry.... the previous post is supposed to be a reply to the "orthodontist" comment.

  • Aw man, I'm crying my eyes out. When the mom was looking at her room, I couldn't help it.

  • BUT I DON'T LIKE BACON BUTTIES!!! LoL! Super cute!

  • What a lovely family. I'm glad they could help them. I hope they'll be okay. Bless them.

  • Yes. It must have been really hard for their mother, especially after the death of her husband. :'(

  • Oh, jeez. Got totally verklempt when mom saw the photo.

Perked back up with the frozen peas comment though. :)

  • this is a lovely episode.. thank you

  • Another great one! Thanks!

    D

  • Thanks for posting, this is a nice one

  • Those children are so darling!

  • that little girl is sooo cute!!! bless her
