@XTGNecro nope. if you want a flatland with mines and dirt/stone/resources etc below, you still need to do this. superflat starts you off near bedrock, so there's practically nothing to mine.

@TheGuitarDude10 put the map on single player first, then use mcedit, save the world, go to singleplayer and choose your world (when creating world, thoose creative) and place somewhere a bed, then move the map to multiplayer, search for the place, if you cant find it, make yourself dead, then u will spawn at ur bed!!!

That's odd, it didn't work. I followed all the instructions and had a perfect grassy world, closed MCEdit, opened Minecraft, opened it up, here's what happened... I spawned in the air on my flat world, so died.... then after a lot of lag, when I finally respawned, I respawned in water on some very odd corrupted world, with sand randomly scattered throughout the grass, and a hill not too far away...

Any suggestions? :/

MCedit may not be able to spawn items in your inventory... But it can spawn everything else making those items worthless anyway :P all arguments are invalid, MCedit pwns.

It takes well, 2 minutes.

GO to Minecraft, open Bin-folder, open Minecraft.jar, insert SSP-Commands, save it, copy Worledit into bin-folder, done.

When you have this Mod, its far easier and faster to make a flat world as you like.

BUT using MCedit should be learned too and you dont need to mod your minecraft for that, nor do you need to wait for updates after Minecraft got Updated.

@AssassinSHADOW55 : That's because you're filling literally millions of blocks at once. Many computers can't handle that huge of a process, and my program did ALMOST crash once. I've learned to reduce the size of my selections to prevent future crashes.
