I have traveled all across the world, observed the arts and culture of east and west, nobody can come closer to beauty of Madhu Bala. A Pakistani from Calgary
Somebody rightly said that When Madhubala is on screen Everything else fades away. She is icon of starts and love. GOD bless her. From Mahal when she was just 16 years old till the death when she was about 36, her presence she was there all the time, and 42 years of her going to heavenly abode her presence in this material world, is always felt and she will always be felt present.

I had seen this movie in a theater at Myanmar more than half a century ago, didn't know what they were singing, but I enjoyed the music and the dance very much though. Now I'm watching it on line in Taiwan, still don't know nothing about the song. But it'll be a blessing if some one could translate it into English or even Chinese.
@mike93627 Loosely translated, song is about a stranger who stole her heart: Chorus: Girl:"a stranger stole my heart away & left sweet pain behind" Girl: My beautiful stranger's only keepsake are the tears of first love trapped in this glass youth his g'bye were in cool embraces, and left me sweet pain in these eyes." CHORUS Guy:so many men are in chasing you o'fair one, a look is all it takes Girl:the shine in my eyes, he took it all" Guy if i got you him ths instant, wht wuld u give me? CHORUS
This delightful song and dance sequence will steal your heart away - so let yourself go, enjoy the sweet words & music, click your fingers, tap your feet to the seductive tempo changes & remain synchronized all the way through to the finale ..... It's simply marvelous entertainment.

Hindi is an beutiful and difficult langauage. Its grammar is more wider than the Urdu So please stop praising Urdu. By simply watching bollywood movie u can't just say that Mr mparveez
The word Urdu is believed to be derived from the Turkish, word 'Ordu', which means army encampment. It was initially called Zabān-e-Ordu-e-Mu'alla or language of the exalted army and later just Urdu. It obtained its name from Urdu Bazar, i.e. encampment (Urdu in Turkish) market, the market near the Red Fort in the walled city of Delhi. I remember film "Razia Sultan" on first premier, people came out of the theatre not understanding the dialect which was pure urdu (called the poetic tong)
If you believe Urdu and Hindi is same language because youre not comparing Urdu with pure Hindi. Hindi script was developed much later then Urdu script which is a simplified form of arabic script. Languages are dervide from existing languages but they dont remain same.
Actually, Hindi script is devnagri which is derived from Brahmi script which itself is thousands of years old. Hindi dialects were written in brahimi scripts much before urdu developed.
thats sanskrit not hindi. moghals spoke farsi and then came up urdu. vocabs totally different as well as pronunciation. Urdu is derived main from arabic farsi and turkish. idiot
What a belief. Hindi has been around for much longer as in the form of the Prakrit derivatives.
The entire grammar of urdu is derived from Hindi and Sanskrit.
You can write in Hindi without using any persian or arabic words, but there is no way to write in urdu without the influence of Hindi and Sankrit. More so because of the fact that the grammar of urdu is totally derived from Hindi and Sanksrit.
(Be Original,Be Yourself !!!) bad language don't belong to this community and nation but a cheap imitation of the west, aren't you proud of your heritage which is thousands of years older than the west. Anyway, a beautiful song of the past, reminds us when pure Urdu & Hindi was the language & u were proud of it, whilst the new generation prefer to twist the tong and speak english to obtain a higher recognition from the Master
omg india n pakistan r 2 diffrent countries ! n so it obviously looks like u dont kno shit so y dont u just shut da hell up if ya dont have anthing better 2 say!! . we listen 2 this song because its good, not 2 hear ur bullshit!! whats goin on today with pakistan n india is not 4 u 2 be talkin bout.
Beautiful song - could the whites and pakistanis PLEASE take their hateful comments elsewhere? We don't leave comments on your stuff and don't care about it, so why can't you do the same?
@kamdevil : You love indian song and its people, its a good thing. But why you told indian all that ? only because you want to get their sampathy and they will give nothing except hypocracy and hate. This a good song its another thing brother,.
@kamdevil Believe we Indians too love our Pakistani brethern and hope these artificial barriers will soon break and we will be able to communicate more freely and will have frequent ART & CULTURE exchanges. Thanks to you tube for making commincation easy
@kamdevil I am from Bangladesh and I don't hate people from Pakistan. Everyone is not the same. Concept of India, Pakistan and Bangladesh came into being after the British left India. British policy was to divide and rule. If all of South Asia was united... It would be one of the most powerful country in the world.
@solidaritos does ur stupidity have any boundarys, the singer mohammed rafi would have been a pakistani if he like millions of original indians moved to pakistan. many paksitanis love this song, it is goray who are dividing and ruling. think

I belive Hindi is a part of Urdu.
most of the words in Hindi is taken from Urdu.
you cannot make a sentence sound good without Urdu words...
just try to make a sentence in pure hindi its so difficult to undestand and also sounds funny...

Urdu is not derived from Hindi. Its parent language is Hindustani.

Urdu's parent is Farsi, i.e. Persian language.

@kamdevil I am from Bangladesh and I don't hate people from Pakistan. Everyone is not the same. Concept of India, Pakistan and Bangladesh came into being after the British left India. British policy was to divide and rule. If all of South Asia was united... It would be one of the most powerful country in the world.
shilpa88888 3 months ago
@solidaritos does ur stupidity have any boundarys, the singer mohammed rafi would have been a pakistani if he like millions of original indians moved to pakistan. many paksitanis love this song, it is goray who are dividing and ruling. think
