I have a natural poofy wavy hair also. My mom said that olive oil are quite expensive so I used Dove Nutritive Oil care treatments instead, and it worked for me, so far. My hair's frizz was lessen. Those who don't want oil on their hair should give it a try. :) I like the video btw.

Your not sapposed to put olive or vedggie oil in your hair. Why don't you get some good oils from a Solon for curls. Then get some curl cream. And blow dried it with a diffuser. You don't know anything about curls. You barly have any curls. You have waves. Go talk to a professional

The change in the way your hair looks is amazing! When my hair is long again, I'll try using olive oil as you suggest: after shampooing. I sometimes do an olive oil mask before I wash my hair, but I think your method is more effective. I just can't use it on my short hair, hehe. Good luck! ^^/

Thank you! As an Asian American woman, it's so hard to find tips. I'll use that twirling the hair into sections and get myself a comb. I now use coconut oil which I can also leave in during the day if I don't have time to wash it out, since it's light. I went to Chinatown in NYC and got my hair straightened too (only mild version). He told me that my hair is now curly, I wonder why. By the way, take some pride in what you do, you're putting yourself out there and that takes guts.

i have VERY curly and frizzy hair and i did this treatment where i put avicado,extra virgin olive oil and mayonaise in my hair and i left it in my hairbfor 2 hours since i have very damaged hair and it worked EXTREMELY well it makes your hair very soft and it doesnt leave the scent in your either :)

@Cindyvuong1 Curlers, rollers, if your hair is wavy, then maybe cutting it shorter will make it more curly, BUT if you cut your hair too short (as in chin length) it will poof out sideways!!

Hi! Nice tips. Another oil to use for curly hair is argan oil. I have curly hair too and use it on my hair dry or damp. It smells really good and makes your hair feel great like olive oil. What's worked the best for my curls to eliminate frizz (totally) is washing it every three days, combing it when wet, not touching it when wet/damp, and letting it air dry. When I do this, my curls are silky and defined and there's no frizz.

I have the hair issues since forever and I absolutely don’t have idea how to handle with my hair, so I always tie it in a pony tail.
