This video always reminds me of how Christ can always forgive any sinner no matter what terrible things they have done if they believe and repent. This scene is a great example of that. Once the Grinch finally had that change of heart, he finally realized the full extent of his sins and how he had been a fool his entire life. And just when he thought that there was no way to remove the guilt, the sun began to shine as if God had finally forgiven him. A truly powerful scene!

A great example of the ole comedic trick of overdoing an emotion. If you don't know what that means, see some of the old classic comedies like Laurel and Hardy or Abbot and Costello.
