All the people who say Bon Iver lacks the intensity of Adele, overthinks his music, or is too mushy, clearly hasn't seen him live, or simply listened to Skinny Love. Of all the great artists I've heard recently, No one else pours as much of their heart and soul into their music as Bon Iver does and what comes out is pure, unadulterated honesty in musical form. Maybe that's why I like Justin Vernon so much. It's not even about the Grammy's here, it's about Bon Iver, and the credit he deserves.

I don't see the big deal. The Grammy is a shiny trophy that is often based on sales projections over quality. That is how Adele won - by singing about the pain of relationships with raw primal intensity. This is mush by comparison.
