  • i am only 12 and am no expert on the flute yet!!!! i have listened to many recordings of this movement so know ruffly the style and how it should go but i have to say this performace was good in places but overall i just notcied way to many mistakes and just not enuff drive!

i hope you dont mind my honest opinion....overall some really good playing

  • あんまり上手じゃないよね~・・・

    ほんとにフルーティストなの?

  • I don't like...

    I'm sorry

  • I agree with you.

  • Que fracasso total da pianista... falta interação

  • he plays it to slow and without enthusiasm, how said evaaba

he shold show more differences between the parts, in the sound for example

  • it could have more enthusiasm

  • nice, but I prefer the violin version.. but anyway, it's very interesting to know where this sonata comes from!

  • The viol in version of this sonata was written by Oistrack with the permission of the composer. The original version is for flute!

  • Very good performance! This piece it's really HARD!! I think it's only a bit slow!

  • awesome articulation on the low register. This is REAL flute (see my channel).

  • I agree, I've never understood how people can play like that.

  • A lovely musical performance, but it's a miracle it sounds any good considering his flute is aiming straight to the floor! What awful posture! I can't believe he can get ANY movement in his right arm, it's bent at his elbow and is hand is a claw!

I do really like though that this is played vigourously, as this movement should be.

  • I think that you all need to listen to more flute players then James Galaway and Paula Robison. This is a great recording! Fenwick Smith rocks, I'd like to see you hold a position in the BSO. As far as his posture goes he actually plays out of the side of his mouth (can't see due to video quality) so to make the flute even with his lips the flute has to be pointed down.
