If you know enough about deadmau5 and his personal preferences, you would know that Codex is one of his favorite Radiohead songs, Thom Yorke his favorite musician, and he considers Radiohead's music to be a work of art. Also, a while back iTunes featured these playlists put together by EDM artists that you could buy, and deadmau5's playlist included Radiohead's "Everything in it's Right Place" So deadmau5 didn't just do this cover because he felt like it. He's a total Radiohead fanboy.

This and many songs by deadmau5 are the only songs I can listen to when I get a headache. <3 Deadmau5.Wish I could give the guy a hug and praise him in person cause he makes some hardcore music but he also makes some of the beautiful music I know. Just so chill and incredible.

Pretty crazy that Deadmau5 used brand new synths and presets... to create a cover that sounds exactly the same as the original, which was itself a mediocre song on a mostly mediocre album.
