I just watched the full interview. Justin's behavior and facial expressions didn't change. That I could see anyways, your like an expert compared to me. He stuttered early in the interview before Mariah was even brought up. I'm not saying that everything you said is irrelevant though.
I think you should watch a few more justin bieber interviews before you do another body language analysis on him. Just for comparison on the difference in his behavior and the situations. his expression at the end of the video is one that he does often. it is not smug, nor contemptuous... more of a "what can you do" kind of look. which makes sense if he is talking about a situation that is beyond his control (false allegations). also, his statement about being a target was clearly pre-written and rehearsed. he messed it up, then corrected himself. it wasn't some subconscious slip. and matt says "this woman", so jb says "the woman". mirroring. anyways... very interesting video. :)

Justin started answering the question right after the interviewer asked "Have you ever met this woman?" and used the same term that the interviewer used to refer to her.
And GOD FORBID he flash contempt for a woman who is falsely claiming he's the father of her child.

I'm sorry, but this is bull. He said none of "those" allegations are true because he knows we all know that there are many allegations floating around. Accusation 1) I had sex with Beiber. Accusation 2) He's the father of my child. Allegation 3) I MET Justin Beiber. Saying "those" allegations aren't true is a blanket statement including any claim Mariah has made because he's never met the girl. If you want to be taken seriously, I would do some research and apply it to these videos.

I am pretty certain that Justin is just referring to Mariah's story as a whole when he talks about the allegation(s). I personally don't think that the use of "those" and "none" is really telling of anything in this particular interview. That's what I picked up at least. I myself, probably would have used the same speech pattern if put in a similar situation.

You sir, are awesome! I think you're right, they both had trouble with stuttering and fidgeting... They're both lying about something. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think that Mariah would be stupid enough to sue Justin if she didn't think she could win. of him you'll see that he still has a very 'deer in headlights' way about him in all his interviews, he's not comfortable articulating himself in his own skin just yet & he usually has only a few words to say - usually you can tell that he takes phrases that he has heard before and repeats them or he sticks to the script he is given. This is not an insult, he's just feeling his way around still. Interview-wise he seems most comfortable with Ellen. If anything maybe he MET this girl but thats it.

The only critique I would have for your analysis (and this is coming from a mostly objective/indifferent view point, I'm not a hater or a die-hard fan) is to be careful about how you're deconstructing The Bieb's body language in contrast to Mariah's. I agree with absolutely everything you said about her interview and it all seemed to add up, but take into consideration the fact that Justin, being a young star and very 'managed', is coached on what he says and if you watch other videos...

I disagree with the point that the avoidance of using "I" isnt distancing himself from the allegations or "wrong doing" but its doing the opposite. To me if I wanted to distance myself from a wrong doing I would use the word I.
Also he tries to talk with slang alot. Maybe you are looking into his use of language too much aha.

But Justin recently decided he's going to take the paternity test in about 2 weeks, and if Justin was actually the dad he wouldn't want to take the test...So far I think Justin is innocent until proven guilty, after all, I am a fan (:. It comes back positive, and JB's ' innocent ' look is forever erased. and C. if it does come back as JB's baby, if Mariah’s story is “ true,” she could be facing some statutory rape charges (and jail time), because in it, she claims she was 19 years old and Justin was 16 at the time. According to the California law, sex between someone over 18 and under 18 constitutes statutory rape. She raped JB!!!
