  • We only have a couple of Bendy Buses maybe Four in the Whole City. Once they have bought them they will hardly get Rid of them. But I do not think they will buy more because of the bad Reports about them, just use them until they wear out.

  • I think there was some pressure to get rid of them. I've had a look at the London Cycle Map about this road, and I am glad that it warns cyclists that this road is 'busy'. But the sign looks like it is actually inviting cyclists to cycle there. The map is much clearer.

  • Just got hold of a copy of the London Cycle Network. Should be interesting reading.

  • I should say that the Traffic is still Lethal here in Dublin in the City Centre at Rush Hour with Horrendous Traffic Jams and I think the Buses are Terribly Dangerous especially. They have a Habit of cutting you off,and we have a few of your Bendy Buse as well. I think these are just for Experimentation and I dont know if they will be kept.

  • They're fazing out Bendy Buses.. funny how that Dublin seems to be keeping them.. they ought to faze them out too.

  • Just read that there will be a tube strike, so more inexperienced cyclists will be on the roads (and in Stratford). He is supposed to be working on some 'scheme' for the cyclists.. will he get rid of these lorries here then? We look forward to seeing what happens during the tube strikes folks.

  • Don't get me wrong, I like some of the stuff they do.. but not this cr+p

  • The London Cycle Network (as above) works with Sustrans and the London Cycling Campaign. Personally I thought that the AA (Automobile Assn) had their say from what we see here.

  • With all the money Sustrans get, it concerns me that Stratford members are getting a raw deal.

  • Yes, they should have a special permit for entering this part of London. I would agree. Why are on earth are huge lorries blocking the roads, causing jams and killing cyclists here during the daytime?

Madness. If Dublin can do it, then why can't we?

  • One very Large Cyclist Killer Proceeds on its way unhindered on Narrow City Streets. Ban them completely ,or at least have them Delivering at very Early in Morning or Late at Night Proceeding at 10mph through City Streets.

In Dublin we have Largely Eliminated them off the Roads by Building the Port Tunnel. They have to have a Special Permit to Enter the City. This does not Work all the Time as the Tunnel is Closed sometimes when there is a Problem with Safety Signalling.
