Not seen alot of the leafs this season but they've suprised me with alot of their results and I'd suspect a few others, I remember hearing that they were tanking this season to try and get high picks but so far they've had some decent scores.
i was telling my leaf buddy last year that u have to trade wellwood and Coliacovo cause there always injured yes there good players but there always freaking injured, if i were to trade a 15 or 77 i would trade kubina def
Yeah that's granted, I didn't mention that. What I should have said is ***When he connects*** he's good. Guerin and Bertuzzi know that first hand (youtube that ish). Schenn does this odd thing where he can line a guy up, miss him, and still be on him. I friggin' love that kid.
I have, actually. I haven't seen Finger yet, but I say this in all honesty, he's the most sound defensive player on the team. Bar none. It's sad but true.
Most of the D-men seem to be OK with the situation. Colaiacovo is a saint, and he's taking it all in stride. Van Ryn's gone for a bit, and White's now a forward. So it's 7-deep for the time being.
Kaberle
Schenn
Kubina
Van Ryn
Stralman / Colaiacovo / Frogren
None of those bottom 3 guys are that bad. Colaiacovo takes too many penalties but checks well, Stralman is weak defensivly with offensive upside, and Frogren is tough, blocks shot, but needs work.
I have one thing in there that I slightly disagree with, I think that when Colaiacovo he makes his checks they're fantastic, but alot of the time I see him go for a big hit, miss it, crash into the boards and basically give the other team 2 on 1's. Now he is getting better at that, so maybe with Wilson he can become a quality defenceman
