  • thank you very much for this awsome tutorial :D

  • Great video. Thanks a million.

I'm currently retopologising a high res face. I've done half the head but when I put on symmetry it goes crazy. Any tips?

  • it would be easy to create this thing with just editpoly modeling

  • Thank you for the tutorial. Helped me a lot. Even with the coughing :D

  • awesome video man, poly draw is amazing, changed my entire workflow and made my work more precise

  • I just started making high-poly stuff in Mudbox and need to retopologize in Max, so this is really helpful, thanks :)

  • Extremely helpful, thanks! :-)

  • great vid!!!!

  • Thanks for the tutorial, could have done without the coughing directly in the mic, but all is forgiven :)

  • @kornswag haha yeah, sorry about that, I was really ill at the time. At least you can't catch what I had through the internet :)

  • Great tutorial, thanks

  • Thank you, this is a great tutorial. By the way I looked up about creating the first poly. You Shift Drag to create your first poly

  • You are my Super Man...

You just saved my life man love the tutorial... Zbrush really messed up with retopology in version 4...

  • Thanks dude, this help alot!

  • thanks a million,,, for real, since zb's retopo tool got fucked in the 4th version,, this came so super handy... great tutorial and big thanks dude!

  • sometimes when i make new vertices they dont snap to the surface, is there an option that auto-snaps all vertices to surface

  • thanks, great tutorial.

can u poryect the hig poly details of the mesh sculpted on zbrush, like on the retopology procces in zbrush?

  • @3dberserk1

In Zbrush that creates an actual high poly again, the closest thing to it within 3ds max is simply projecting and creating a normal map off of that (using the projection modifier)

  • When i try to use the freeform tools, i can only work on the opposite side of the view i'm seeing it. If i wanna retopologize a character from the front, im forced to work on his back, in front view. And the same the other way. Any tip?

  • @Kinslayer47 I haven't encountered the problem you are describing, and to be honest I have no idea how to fix it, sorry!

  • Thx for great tutorial
