  • They were all "just using religion as an excuse to be really crappy to each other" ... To quote Talky Toaster "so what else is new?"

  • Gah, religion! Anyone with critical faculties surely must reject any theism. Or, in the case of the Archbishop of Canterbury, embrace varying elements of all of them. Plonker.

  • I know, it's late but Happy New Year.

    From Max Jones

  • Howdy Bob! Happy New Year Sir, it's great to see you out and about with your camera. It's nice to see Bobby the filmmaker again but you might want to watch the whole blaspheme thing. I would hate to see that nifty new ski jacket and snowshoe combo go up in flames. :)

  • Wow! That place looks lovely.

    Happy New year!

It's amazing really that religion causes so many wars even though each of them say they are peaceful loving faiths. I do wonder why many people can't just respect and get along with people of other faiths.

  • More people have died in the name of God than Hitler!

  • Happy New Year! LlewTube gets better with every video :-)

  • Wow. You wer ein France for new year? Okay, it's only France, but still...

I went to Torremelinos for my birthday in December.

  • And that's why religion is a great idea! Anyway, the scenary up there is amazing. Nature is a wonderful thing.

  • Hope you had the proper insurance for the snow shoes: my girlfriend's just headed off to Finland and discovered that using snow shoes is classfied by those in the insurance game as an "extreme sport"!

  • wow! beautiful! in the beginning of the video your legs reminded me of robot legs! hehe. loved the story! another terrific vid! hope you had a good holiday! :)

  • Happy New Year. Hadn't heard about Cathars either very interesting take on existence. Just love the monks idea let God sort it out. Fab. scenery and so good to hear snow scrunching under foot. Still no snow in Suffolk. Cheers, Lesley

  • What a great video! Loved it.

  • Thus, you could say your experiment was "cathartic", I suppose.

  • What a nice place. Did you meet Irvine?

  • its incredible what you can do with those green screen effects, it almosy looked like you where there.

Have a great and very happy New Year and thanks for all last years films

  • thats a lovely region, my daughters grandmother lives there...we have never been though. Something very pure about snow. I love being in a place where all you can see is snow covered land, looks very fresh. You lucky sod LOL. Have agreat new year.

  • That religion sounds like Christianity mixed in with a bit of Buddhism and Islam included

  • I'm gonna start 'making do' so I can go on a holiday like that with all the lovely cash I save. Happy New Year to you and your family.

  • Great vid, very interesting.

  • Lol as per usual religion making sense lol. Hope youre having fun in the snow.

  • What an amazing place to start the year.

  • i think you summed up human existence there, lots of soldiers standing around a town asking questions taking orders from morons

  • happy new year!

congrats on finishing the year :)

hope u had a good xmas, new year :D

  • Hehehe. So it was SATAN who made the world...

That would explain insects, rain and the postal service.

  • Lmao when i read postal service..

  • Nice one bobby. I never knew about that religion either, a fascinating concept. I might give it a look up ont' wikipedia.

  • beautiful background the devil didn't make it In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Genesis 1:1 or if a person believes in evolution nothing made it somehow. kill them all and let God sort it out? how awful religion is nothing but a bunch of mans rules i believe God hates religion. anyway happy new year Robert

  • happy new year

  • Happy new year! because of your vids we're making do in '08. It wasn't so much "why do it?" as "when do we start"... totally out of character for me as I am a sneaker freak and cannot let a month pass by without buying at least one pair of trainers! It's gonna be fun :)

  • Happy New Year

  • Beautiful :)

  • Happy new year to you too Rob. Brilliant scenery.

  • Wonderful crunchy snow...

"Let God sort it out." -- I saw that line coming, but was hoping that wasn't what you were going to say.

Thanks for view! What a beautiful place. Happy New Year.

    -dan'l

  • Quit Scrapheap.

  • lol. concise.

  • Aren't we all feeling it?

  • i don't watch it to be honest.

  • It doesn't look quite warm enough for the devil to spend any time there ;)

  • Gotta love the sound of snow!

  • Whats Church taxes?

  • paying money to the church

  • Srry offcourse, I live in holland we dont know anything like it.

  • congratulations on making it through the year! :) while converting to a new religion might not be the solve-all answer, it's cool to know that there have been many others thinking similarly.. have you seen storyofstuff (dot-com)? it's a neat kind of everyman summary of what's really going on with all our "stuff"..

  • APPY new year.

  • woohoo you got through making do!

  • Happy New Year, Robert! :D

  • ok, perhaps there is no second person, and that's just Mr Llewellyn himself minus said snow-shoes. Methinks I've been silly...

  • I want to go to France, it looks nice there and my best friend moved there 2 years ago so i must go :)

  • I wonder: why didn't the poor cameraman (whoever it is) get to wear fancy snow-shoes too?

Very interesting Mr Llewellyn. Thankyou so much for sharing.

  • I'm pretty sure the cameraman was just a rock.. :P

  • yes, I realised as soon as I posted. It's just that with the big trousers, the feet look almost feminine... sorry BBL

  • cathars were off there heads, like mental!

  • They sound incredibly sane to me! It's the church that (as usual) seems insane.-And people wonder why I'm not a Christian. Read Mark Twain's "Letters From Earth" and you may start to ask some interesting questions about god and the devil too. Cheers!

  • i completely agree with you medula!

  • yeah but the cathars used to hurt themselvs in order to repent for their sins. like seriosly hurt themselvs. (sorry cant spell)

  • like doby in harry potter?!

  • Wow.. all that white.. It's making me feel even colder than I am.. and I'm already freezing. I liked the little story.. gotta love religion! (:

  • Look nice, but cold up there. First thought when I saw the thumbnail was you'd been messing with a green screen. :P

  • me too lol!

  • glad to have you back. probabe warmer there than it was over here at new year.
